"Jon and Kate Plus 8" star Kate Gosselin sat down with the "Today Show" for her first interview since she and husband Jon announced their split in June.

Gosselin confessed, "I wake up and I do feel a lot of failure." She began to tear-up when Meredith Vieira asked why the mom of eight was still wearing her wedding ring. Kate said she wears the ring for her children, "I don't want to upset them."

Jon Gosselin said the couple's 10-year marriage ended last October. Kate denied Jon's account, saying, "Clearly, we have totally different takes on what happened." In the months prior to the divorce filing, the reality TV mom revealed her husband was not often home, but she said the split was gradual.

Vieira asked Kate about Jon's alleged girlfriend Hailey Glassman. Kate said she was "shocked" when she first heard about the relationship, but she doesn't let it get her down. "That's his life and they don't affect me directly."

First of all I am sick of hearing about this family! The ONLY reason this couple has a TV show in the first place is because this crazy women has 8 kids! I seen one episode not knowing what it was about and she was going crazy because her husband did not use a coupon I mean REALLY? she really has some serious issues! They both due! When you start trying to have your damn sports team there are issues!

Jon has always been a JERK even when he was with his family. You notice on his response to the reporters at the airport when he came back from his vacation with Hailey. The reporter asked why he was at the airport & not with Hailey, he said I have to go back to work, we are starting to film again. He did not say I am going back to see my kids because I miss them so much!!!!!!!!!

The comment about Kate not being an actress is rediculous, It is a reality show It’s supposed to show viewers how everyday life is.Unless you act at home.And what it take Jon all of 5 minutes to get a girlfriend or should i say girlfriends. He’s a big boy and had control if he wanted it.Some men don’t like to be in control.So then they can look like the victum

Kate Gosselin is the world’s worst actress. Oh now that her husband has reclaimed his manhood, she is trying to make him the bad guy. She is a waste of space.
