VOTE: The 'Twilight' Switch

Rachelle Lefevre and Summit Entertainment are sparring over Rachelle's comments about her role as Victoria in "Eclipse" being handed to Bryce Dallas Howard due to "scheduling conflicts."

vote on the twilight recasting of rachelle lefevre and bryce dallas howard

Lefevre said she was "stunned" by the studio's decision to replace her, but Summit maintains they had no choice, due to Rachelle's commitment to indie flick "Barney's Version."

Tell "Extra" -- Which actress should play Victoria?

NEXT: 'New Moon' Questions Answered!

WTF. Like all red heads look alike?! And it just won’t make a difference? Eclipse is the book with victoria’s biggest role, she’s the only antagonist. Rachel seems like pretty good actress, and I get that she’s good enough to get other roles but still, It’s T-W-I L-I-G-H-T! what other role could take a priority to that?

I can just picture it now - Bryce goes to daddy Ron Howard, one of the most influential people in Hollywood, stomps her foot and says “but daddy, I want to be in Twilight!!!” Daddy picks up the phone, makes one call and says “Make it happen.” done deal.

relax, breathe, now get over it!!
its no ones fault and yeah its sucky but real world decisions have to be made. Frankly I could care less Victoria is a very minor role and not that great a character. call me if they replace bella or edward and then I’ll get mad.

Good Job Summit! All of these scorned fans must all be teenagers living with their parents with no concept of the REAL world and RESPONSIBILITIES. Last time I checked when you have a job that requires you to be there Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm and you decide to roll into work at 9:15 cause you had other thing to take care; Well, simply put, you pull something like that you get FIRED! And it looks like that is exactly what happened here!!!! Rachelle had responsibilities which she tried to duck out of for “ONLY 10 days” out of a total of 90!?! Let’s get real here people!!! It is obvious that Rachelle has forgotten what made her a star and where her responsibilities lye. It is a good thing she “fell” into this franchise cause she has no clue as how to keep in it!!!!! If not for the Twilight franchise she wouldn’t have these 10 day roles. She obviously thinks the world and movie revolve around her and her schedule…. You don’t see Kristen Stewart pulling a stunt like this and then crying VICTIM! In the real world Rachelle when you make a CHOICE it has CONSEQUENSES and obviously you aren’t good at making choices since you CHOSE to take a 10 role in EUROPE when you had ALREADY COMMITTED to Twilight for 3 months!!!!!!

And those of you with your petitions to Summit…. Well I think you should redirect those to Rachelle asking how she could let you all (the TWILIGHT FANS) down??? How could she choose to take on a job when she already had COMMITED to Eclipse for 90 DAYS?!!?!!!? Keep in mind while you write your petitions that she is making more money in 3 months of this role than the rest of us could make in 3 years and then some and getting publicity and more movie roles!!!! So who is the real victim here????? NOT RACHELLE!!!!

So the way I see it is again good job Summit and bring on Bryce!!!!! Maybe she lives in the REAL WORLD and knows what a WORK ETHIC is and what RESPONSIBILITIES are!

Summit, it’s a good thing you “fell” nto this successful movie because it’s extremely apparent that you don’t know how to run a company and least of all keep your customers happy. If you idiots worked for me, I’d fire all of you!!!! Nobody believes this was about scheduling, some favor was owed to someone and Rachelle loses. You people really are pathetic. I almost feel sorry for you.

This was a very bad decision on Summit’s part. I’ve been burning up the boards on all the fan sites that I regularly visit. It’s like Summit has forgotten who made this franchise as huge as it is…the answer - THE FANS! And the fans are NOT happy with this decision.

Rachael has been very excited and supportive of The Twilight Saga and more should’ve been done on Summit’s part to maintain this very important cast member. She is a member of the Twilight family and we feel like they have disrespected our part in this by so easily taking this action.

Summit - This is a BAD DECISION!

Oh come on! You can’t do a comparison between them, you haven’t seen Bryce in the role! By all means say Summit handled it badly, but you can’t vote that Rachelle is better at Bryce in the role if you haven’t even seen the latter in it! Likewise, you can’t really vote that Bryce is going to be better than Rachelle. It’s just unfair on them both to create a poll this early.

Howard had to do some underhanded stuff to steal Rachelle’s role. I don’t like it. And I’m extremely disappointed in Summit’s juvenile behavior.

Rachelle IS Victoria, no one else can portray her.

If Beth or anyone else wants to send protest mail to Scummit, send me an email at twilightlurve@gmail.com, I have their post address & a list of email addresses!

Boycott Summit! Go Team Rachelle!

Does anyone know how to contact Summit Entertainmet L.L.C. directly other than the United States Postal service? I’ve been looking for an email address and can’t find one. How stupid of them to replace Lefevre with Howard. I’m not an expert at making movies but I would think, in the grand scheme of things, what’s 10 days?

Rachelle is the better choice than the figureless Miss Howard. “Twilight” could never get is schedule or Director right in the first place.
