Jon and Kate Not Independent for July 4th
Despite having recently filed divorce papers, reality couple Kate and Jon Gosselin put aside their differences to celebrate the Fourth of July with their brood.
"Jon pointed to the July 4th holiday and said, 'What are we going to do about that?'" Kate recently told People magazine. "I absolutely cannot imagine not spending every single holiday with my kids. I don't care what it takes. I will be there."
The estranged couple was snapped playing volleyball, lighting sparklers and picking blueberries with their eight children. According to the magazine, the Independence Day event had been planned for some time.
"Jon and Kate Plus 8" airs Mondays on TLC.
