LeAnn Rimes and her husband, Dean Sheremet, have decided to split!

"LeAnn and her husband have been separated for quite some time now, but they continue to try and work through their relationship," a Rimes pal dished to People magazine.

Four months ago, the country singer was accused of having an affair with "Northern Lights" co-star Eddie Cibrian. Earlier this week, Eddie's wife Brandi Glanville revealed that she and the actor were splitting. Eddie and LeAnn were snapped going for a motorcycle ride this past weekend.

When accusations of an affair surfaced, Cibrian denied being unfaithful. Rimes has refused to comment on her relationship with the actor.

LeAnn and Dean tied the knot in 2002, when the singer was 19.
