VOTE: Did Al Roker Go Too Far?

Did Al Roker go too far?

It all started with an interview on the "Today Show" where Heidi and Spencer Pratt sat down with Al Roker to talk about their time on "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!" The reality TV couple told "Extra" they felt "persecuted" by Roker, but Al says he doesn't even know why the Pratts are celebs!

"Extra" wants to know: Did Al overdo it with Speidi?

"Extra" friends can't get enough of the Speidi/Roker feud in the community. Chat now!

NEXT: Megan Fox Wants Some Action!

I do not like Heidi or Spencer in the least bit. However, I think Al Roker’s interview was uncalled for. I am sorry is Al Roker a Weaterman or an interviewer. He should be ashamed of himself and I will never watch the Today Show for this reason.

Hi, I didn’t watch the whole interview of these two people that Al did interview for at all. I don’t care about these two people at all anyway I never watch The Hills at all. I didn’t know who they was until I watch these entertainment shows talking about it anyway. The way I see this that Al was asking them questions. What I see they really didn’t seem to answer them at all. I think they treated him like he wasn’t a interviewer person at all. If it was Barbara Walters or anybody else along that line they might answer the questions anyway. If they didn’t like the questions Al was saying to them they could of said no comment on that or just get up and leave the interview too if they was that offended that badly. Plus Al was just asking them question like anybody else would of ask the same questions anyway like duh there. I also feel like they didn’t seem to care about the charity they was doing it for anyway if they won the show. I would of tough it out longer than they did anyway and who cares they mess up your beauty products anyway.

Lol, commentors, your nerves are getting frayed over a simple poll.

please don’t have a nervous breakdown over mere numbers. not worth it.

I take it all in stride. No need to stress.

Heidi and spencer are actors in the Hills series. They have not done any movies.

The show is popular with the younger crowd as the actors are in their 20’s.

I laugh at all the lame comments, I cant believe commentors could get so pushed out of shape.

you silly commentors are entertainment to me.lol lol lol commentors..sucks2bu a bunch of nervous wrecks…lol..lol..lol

WHO? WHAT?? They were a waste of air time. I turned to a commerical when i heard they were next. Why or Why is anyone interested in them. They are both lame actors. There are so many other up and coming actors that deserve the spot light…. Geezzz! give me a break. The same person must be voting over and over against Al!

How do the votes speak for themselves when the comments obviously say otherwise? Al was not out of line - Heidi and Spencer are…and have been for some time now. They’re two people desperate for attention by any means necessary. Heidi claiming to be the modern day Mother Teresa as she poses nude for Playboy?!? Riiiiiiight.

Why are we paying any attention to these pitiful people who want to expose themselves on these lame reality shows? There are millions of people in this country who are unemployed. They could care less about these people who had enough problems before they exposed us to their unfulfilled lives.

I’ve wanted to say this since the beginning of all this mess…Al Roker is exactly right! What have they done?! As I was watching the show I was thinking,’Celebrity?’ no, George Clooney is a celebrity. Denzel IS A CELEBRITY. Ok, these guys are celbrities because they’ve made a name for themselves. They’ve done something!!! Mother Theresa?- are you serious! Well, you’re getting a really late start on that seeing as that beginning isn’t even in sight. Angelina is much closer. When you’ve gotten that far, then you’ll know your at least changing lives. And BTW- what is she spraying all over herself all the time- a spray can of ugly? Well, it’s working. She’s so vain- if she didn’t even have all that make up aka “face support”, her true ugly side would show through. They’re both so desperate for attention because no one gives a crap about them, that they had to appear to be so extreme and fake their way back to “stardom”. They should be called out- they’re fake. Nothing about them is real or sincere. Do something of substance and stop being so selffish. Look at all the opportunities you have to join something worth helping in. That’s what they should be doing. They make me sick!

I Can’t believe anyone, especially the media even bother with those two. Al was doing his job. If “Speidi” want to be celebrities and get all this attention then they need to be able to take whatever comes at them.
I also can’t believe how bad the spelling and grammer is by the people posting their comments here.
Too much reality TV! It’s rotting everyone’s minds. Let’s get back to scripted shows and put the educated clever writers back to work full time!

Al gave those two losers what they deserve. The media shouldn’t indulge them with all these interviews. They are shallow, superficial, and famous for absolutely no reason at all. Why is anyone even interested in them? Al’s the one who should be complaining that he’s the one who got stuck interviewing those wastes of space.

i feel al was on the attack from the start! interviews should be held in a nonbiased attitude, but it seems im seeing more & more reporters throw their own biased opinions into their stories & (supposedly) fair interviews! This needs to stop! the today show is one of the worst at this! excludeing merideth but includeing katy currick!Example;matt/palin you could almost see the smoke coming out of matts nose even though letterman was throughly wrong in joking about her children especially since they are minors! something needs to be done about this type of reporting!!!!we the public are sick of this & would quit watching the news altogether if we had another option!!! past reporters would be appalled at how shallow & biased the news media reports have become!!!!!!!!!

Al is dead right! Those two morons need to grow up & get consoling! And the husband needs to stop using his “wife” as an excuse!

I honestly think that Al did not go to far. I think people are crazy if they think he did. I think Spencer and Heidi need a lot of help. They acted like little children. Heidi on the reality show said she wanted to help poor children. I bet if she saw some she would turn around and walk fast.

Al Roker is one of the kindest, most thoughtful and funniest men on TV. He always treats people he interviews with the utmost respect. His question was direct, she attempted to avoid the question which by itself showed that she was definitely NOT proud of their behavior. Unfortunately, their bad behaviour just continues…

I think Al did a great job! I have watched that Hollywood show and they act like spoiled brats! There is no reason to give those “kids” any air time. If they found “God” that is no
way to act. Grow up!!!
