ryan o'neal remembers farrah fawcett

Farrah Fawcett's longtime love, Ryan O'Neal, is speaking out about the "Angel's" death this morning.

"She's gone. She now belongs to the ages," O'Neal told People magazine. "She's now with he mother and sister and her God. I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much. She was in and out of consciousness. I talked to her all through the night. I told her how very much I loved her. She's in a better place now."

He added, "She was with her team when she passed...Her eyes were open, but she didn't say anything, but you could see in her eyes that she recognized us."

Farrah and Ryan's son Redmond wasn't there when his mother passed away, but O'Neal confirmed that Redmond talked to Farrah on the phone before her death. He told her "how much he loved her and asked her to please forgive him that he was so very, very sorry," Ryan said.

Fawcett died this morning at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, CA.

Farrah, truly was a fighter who never gave up from start to finish. She always had hope. I lost my mother in 1977 from battling cancer. You will always be remembered as a super hero.

Mr O’Neal, family & friends of Farrah Fawcett,
We lost my dad on January 2,2009 after an up and down battle with cancer. We then lost our dog who was a gift to my dad when he first became sick. So, it has been rough but we are getting through it all. My heart and prayers go out to all of you.
I also believe that my dad is also in a better place with no pain and suffering anymore. It makes the pain and loss easier to deal with.
I hope you all have the same great family and friends and support circle that i have had and still do.
Once again I am so sorry for your loss and I wish you all the best in your time of grief.

When you have cancer you know your time is limited. I have cancer and I was so proud of Farrah’s decision to make the film on her struggle. Most familys don’t want to know the truth of how it really is and she informed a lot of people as to what loved ones with cancer experence. Thank You to all who loved and cared for her. Belive me she loves and thanks you. God Bless

May god get all of you through this at this time. Please know there is a beautiful “Angel” up there looking out for you. And you will see her again.
God Bless,
Monica
