Brad Pitt and his family are a generous bunch! The Missouri natives donated $1 million to St. John's Hospital in Springfield over the weekend.

According to the Springfield News-Ledger, the "Curious Case of Benjamin Button" star's brother Doug announced the donation to establish an endowment fund to pay cancer specialists at the Missouri hospital. In honor of their mother Jane, the center will be renamed St. John's Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center.

The donation will help fund a new pediatric unit, a 10-bedroom hospital-based Ronald McDonald House, and will help double the size of the neonatal intensive and pediatric intensive care units.
