Lying piece of crap. She wasn’t even there. He got caught taking things way too far. The Left Extremists nutjobs have spared no expense attacking Palin, and they don’t think there is anything wrong with it. The LEFT just can’t seem to tolerate any views but their own. Such a shame, it is dividing the country. The country is in much worse shape now, than during the last administration. So much for progress. The Progressive Movement is destroying the fabric of the country. Wake up before it is too late.

I think Dave listened to his writers and they assumed it was the older daughter. Dave is ultimately responsible for whatever he says and he was very wrong and should apologize. It was extremely offensive.

its a shame people on tv will do or say anything to get viewers,of course Letterman is out of line,he always is.Unfortunately since Leno left the air there is NO late night talk show worth watching,oh well just gets me to bed an hour earlier.

Mr Letterman, you were way out of line. Being a comedian does not allow you to make bad taste about anyboby’s children. All children of celebreties deserve the right to be letft alone and lead a private life untill they are adults. Your apology …another insult of bad taste!!! After reading the previous comments, I’m a bit struck. I agree that family of politicians should be off limits…until THEY make THEMSELVES public. Bristol Palin going out on limb for the pro-life movement puts her on the map and identifies her as a legitimate target. If you choose a public life, be ready for public criticism.

Mr. Letterman seems to have forgotten to be a gentleman….family members, especially children, should be off limits when using crude, tasteless, and offensive comedic material which by the way is NOT FUNNY. Whatever happened to comedy writers who actually had talent…..who didn’t need to resort to such tactics to make people laugh…I for one will NOT watch the Letterman show.
