Fawcett: One of TV's Super Women

In November 1976, Farrah Fawcett graced the cover of TIME with her "Charlie's Angels" co-stars Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson.

Fawcett told the magazine she never objected to donning a tiny bikini -- because she thought the show might have "reached a quiet point in the script and needed my body to liven things up."

The article described Farrah, then 30, as "a warm, giggly sort of girl... who has a clause in her contract that allows her to leave the set to rush home in time to make supper for her husband."
