Are they or aren't they? Bradley Cooper is setting the record straight on his relationship with Hollywood sweetheart Jennifer Aniston.

In May, Cooper and Aniston reportedly got "cozy" at a party for her movie "Management" and on June 18 the stars were spotted dining together in the Big Apple.

On Friday in Paris the scruffy stud told a reporter in fluent French, Jen is "a friend of mine. Simply, simply, just a friend." The 34-year-old studied abroad back in 1996.

He added, "In America, its not like it is here. She's someone who is super, super known. Famous. If someone says 'hello' to her, it's given that he's fallen in love with her. So, no. No. She's a very, very interesting woman, but she's simply a friend."

Bradley and Jen both appeared in "He's Just Not That Into You," but the actors didn't have any scenes together. Cooper says, "I got hired at the beginning of the casting, and my part was solely with Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Connelly. Which isn't bad at all."
