Why are the Idol auditions so early this year? Kris has barely finished picking the confetti out of his hair, and already, they’re beginning the search for his successor? Also, why are all the audition cities major hubs that they’ve already been to (some they have been to more times than “I Don’t Wanna Be” has been performed on the show)? Not only are there no new cities, there are also no smaller Southern or Midwestern cities (the last two winners were found in places like this), and no exotic or unusual locales like San Juan or Honolulu. It appears to be a rush job that not much thought was put into. Something is just not right.
