Virtually every ‘couture’ gown since Vera Wang (thanks loads, vera!)is merely a strapless ball gown, with rarely any deviation from the form. There are no original looks anymore. Why does almost EVERY bridal gown need to be strapless, so all brides can now see themselves coming and going, after dropping 20 grand to look special for their wonderful day? Why don’t we just wear sheets and be done with it?
