HER EYES ARE UGLY IN BOTH PICTURES. THERE’S JUST SOMETHING SCARY ABOUT ASIAN EYES. JUST NOT ATTRACTIVE AND YET 60% OF THE WORLD IS ASIAN!!

She seems very happy with the results, and that is more important than what any of us think about her.

I personally like her nose in the “before” picture. It has a nice “button” quality to it. Her eyes look pretty much the same, at least in those pictures.

I don’t like that some, including doctor, are saying that the eyelid surgery is to enhance or make your eyes more attractive. That’s saying that regular Asian eyes are ugly in comparison. It’s a matter of personal preference and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What would a young Asian girl think if she heard a older Asian female say “I’m getting eyelid surgery to make my eyes more attractive.” I think single-lidded Asian eyes are beautiful!

I hope Trish is happy with the way she looks now. She looks fine either way.

First, eyes aren’t much different. What’s most different are hair and smile and lighting, which make these invalid comparison photos. Framing is also different, pre-op pix are closer. I really want to see after pix with same lighting and hair and facial expression and close-up, for a valid comparison.

No plastic surgery can make a smile as beautiful and genuine as hers. Her face was beautiful before and is beautiful after. If more people were like her the world would be a happier place.

as long as she’s happy then there should be no problem.

Dr. Chau did a beautiful job. There is nothing wrong with wanting to enhance yourself! It does not make you an insecure person because you wear colored contacts or have plastic surgery. Typically I find the insecure person is the one in the background making comments like below and judging ppl.

I agree w/ Kim. I think the girl looks good. I always wanted to do something like this but worry too much about what others might say (it’s no wonder, cuz dang, you guys are mean!). maybe one day i won’t worry so much about other people’s opinion.

I can’t believe how controversial this topic is. People always want what they can’t have…and if they are comfortable and can afford to get it, why be mad at them? I’m surprised at how rude people can be. That Trish girl seems really happy with her results, so who are we to be negative.

I don’t think the surgeon did a ‘magnifient’ job, if an Asian woman now looks like a Hispanic woman. Who wants to look like something they’re not? Take pride in who you are; therein lies the real beauty.

The show said that Dr. Bruce Chau is in Southfield, Michigan.

She wears blue contacts as well. Very insecure person. She looked very unattractive before and after she looks mediocre.

I agree. She looks hispanic now. What a dramatical difference. The surgeon did a magnificent job.
