Hi all wanted to introduce myself!! I look forward to being part of this comunity.

This message is for my brothers and sisters in Christ. The bible says judge not, but also don’t accept everything man does under the sun. Hold nothing against our Homosexual brethren, because we are not the judges, accept them as men (as brothers and sisters), but refuse their actions. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18. Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial?…..it continues….

I just love how so many fools can just randomly take one passage out of the bible and try to use it to justify a willfully sinful lifestyle choice! YES God does want us to “love one another” but loving one another has NEVER included loving one another’s lifestyle!! THERE IS A DIFFERENCE! God loves us IN SPITE of some of the things we do not because of them! Or are there some morons who think that if God “really” loves us then he accepts EVERYTHING we do? Oh really? So if someone decides that they love their life of drugs and IF God really loves that person then God should love the fact that the person is using drugs?! That would be insane by any standards! And keep in mind that even the Greeks who invented the practice of homosexuality thousands of years ago understood the importance of preserving the traditional marriage! A fact that is lost on the ignorant segments of society! Oh and please stop babbling about gay animals THERE IS NO SUCH THING!! What a bunch of lunatics are babbling about is two male animals playing! PERIOD!! It’s just there sick perverse minds who automatically ascribe that the playful and natural behavior must somehow be “sexual” in nature! That BS is almost as stupid as that crack-pot college professor who claimed that certain birds must be lesbians because he alleged that two females were sharing a nest….fast forward ten years and WE COME TO FIND that not only can that professor NOT TELL the difference between a male or female bird but that he was basing this BS idea of lesbian birds on the fact that some nests HAS MORE EGGS IN IT THEN OTHERS!!! CAN WE SAY INSANE!!!! This absolutely true! YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS SH*T UP!! And that so-called finding back in the early 90’s was found by one genetic scientist who was obsessed with finding a “cause” for Homosexuality! Not one genetic research scientist has been able to duplicate that original finding!! And NO one has found anything new!! The fanatical whack-jobs at various universities are just building bogus data on top of that previous (bogus) finding!! Oh and get this…sometime during the mid-nineties some of these “scientists” who accepted that faulty data came up with a different theory for lesbians…they theorised that it had something to do with their inner-ear! AGAIN I COULDN’T MAKE THIS UP IF I TRIED!!! I heard this on a slightly left leaning talk-radio station back in the nineties! I didn’t believe any of that crap then and I most certainly don’t believe it now!!

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NIV): “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters, nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

Answer: The Bible consistently tells us that homosexual activity is a sin

(Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9).

Romans 1:26-27 teaches specifically that homosexuality is a result of

denying and disobeying God. When people continue in sin and unbelief,

God “gives them over” to even more wicked and depraved sin in order to

show them the futility and hopelessness of life apart from God. 1 Corinthians 6:9 proclaims that

homosexual “offenders” will not inherit the kingdom of God.

God does not create a person with homosexual desires. The Bible tells us

that people become homosexuals because of sin (Romans 1:24-27) and ultimately

because of their own choice. A person may be born with a greater

susceptibility to homosexuality, just as some people are born with a tendency

to violence and other sins. That does not excuse the person’s choosing to sin

by giving in to sinful desires. If a person is born with a greater

susceptibility to anger/rage, does that make it right for him to give into

those desires? Of course not! The same is true with homosexuality.

However, the Bible does not describe homosexuality as a “greater” sin than any other. All sin is offensive to God.

Homosexuality is just one of the many things listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

that will keep a person from the kingdom of God. According to the Bible,

God’s forgiveness is just as available to a homosexual as it is to an

adulterer, idol worshipper, murderer, thief, etc. God also promises the

strength for victory over sin, including homosexuality, to all those

who will believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation (1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Philippians 4:13

What i can’t understand is the hypocrisy of the bible-believers and Christ Worshippers.
Jesus believed all are equal under the eyes of God since all are His children.
This applies to Gays too since they too are Human beings.
If Bible-believers say they worship Christ and are TRUE christians, why do they refuse to treat gays as equals?
Hypocrites.

A PERSON CANNOT LIVE ON “LOVE” ALONE. WE ALL HAVE TO DEMONSTRATE TO GOD THAT WE ARE SORRY FOR OUR SINS AND DON’T COMMIT THE SIN AGAIN. A PERSON CAN’T JUST SAY THE WORD LOVE AND THINK THEY WILL BE SAVED…THERE IS MORE TO THE EQUATION.

IF A PERSON CONTINUALLY LIVES IN SIN ON PURPOSE, AND DON’T TURN AWAY FROM THEIR SIN, THEY WILL HAVE TO ANSWER TO GOD.

WHERE IN THE BIBLE DOES IT STATE THAT GOD MADE 2 MEN OR 2 WOMEN TO GO FORTH AND PROCREATE? NOWHERE IN THE BIBLE DOES IT SAY THAT.

A PERSON CAN LIE, CHEAT AND STEAL, HOWEVER IF THEY ASK FOR FORGIVENESS FROM GOD AND DON’T COMMIT THE SIN AGAIN, GOD FORGIVES.

WE ARE ALL RESPONSIBLE FROM A LIFE OF DAMMATION, WE ARE SUPPOSED TO SHOW OOUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS THE ERROR OF THEIR WAYS,,,,HOWEVER…YOU CAN’T LEAD A HORSE TO WATER.

WE ALL HAVE OUR OWN CROSS TO CARRY AND WE ALL HAVE OPTIONS AND CHOICES AS TO HOW WE WANT TO LIVE OUR LIVES. I CAN’T SAVE ANYONE BUT MYSELF,,EVERYONE HAS TO SAVE THEMSELVES AND TURN AWAY FROM EVIL.

Their is salvation for everyone, we have to ask of it from God.

So – go ahead and call me a bigot. What I’m offering is a remedy to a problem you have. The unfortunate part of the world we live in, is that it would suggest to you is that you don’t have a problem. If you are one that feels that way – that you’re “good enough” to get into heaven - let me ask you a few last questions based on God’s standards of goodness:

1)Have you ever lied?
2)Have you ever stolen ANYTHING?
3)Have you ever hated anyone? Keep in mind that Jesus said those who hate their brother are like those who have committed murder. Intense, huh?

Now – if you’ve answered truthfully, you’ve lied, stolen and hated/committed murder. Congratulations – you’ve just failed the good person test and you’re goodness ain’t cutting it. If those weren’t enough questions, don’t worry…there are seven more. They are based on the Law – the 10 commandments. Again, the purpose of the Law is to point out your sin and draw you to your knees before a Holy God. Only Jesus is the remedy for your problem of sin.

Glad to see the “yeah sayers” here. Let me add one more “controversial” statement. What is wrong with using good judgment? Are people not aware that discerning what is good and what is not is NOT the same as condemnation? I’m not here to pass eternal damnation. I’m just here to “judge” or assess what is right and wrong. Now, that may bother some of you - “how can you determine what is right and wrong? Who made you God?” It’s called absolute truth. Where do I get it? The plumb-line called the Law found in scripture. The beauty of the Law found in the Old Testament is the revelation of God’s holiness and truth. The wonder of the New Testament is God’s love and mercy demonstrated when people REPENT and turn from their sins. You can’t have mercy and love without a standard that determines what is right and wrong. Let me say that again – YOU CANNOT DETERMINE WHAT IS RIGHT FROM WHAT IS SIN UNLESS THE LAW EXISTS AND WE FACE IT’S CONSEQUENCES. Those who face their sin and acknowledge the deprivation that it brings are grateful and strong believers in Jesus Christ.

I Do NOT understand how the people in favor of their
rights as Gays think we people who believe in what God created the parts as he did for the purpose he did cannot allow us to speak our opinions —- just do NOT get it (and while I may not be Einstein, I am certainly not Elmo).

For those of you who continue to question why Ms. CA had to ‘impose her beliefs/views on others’; here it is in lamans terms: she did not impose her beliefs/views on anyone, she just simply answered a question directed at her with honesty and delicasy.

I am having difficulty understanding how one’s religious orientation cannot impact every area of their life. The problem in our world today is that people believe they can compartmentalize their lives. How can you separate your experiences & beliefs from your religion, politics and world view? For more on this - check out a DVD series called “the Truth project.” I think you might find it interesting.

Finally, I’m going to tell you something that is not very popular. It is ok to disagree with people’s opinions and tell them you believe they are incorrect. What’s wrong with that? I mean…honestly? What’s wrong with that. A great example of this is found in those who oppose proposition 8. They are extremely verbal about their views that supporters are bigots. Now - I think there are more diplomatic ways of conveying your disagreement. According to the bible, we’re not called to tolerate or respect other people’s beliefs but called to LOVE. This is the same love that Jesus displayed when he turned the tables over in the temple - a selfless motivation to convince others to see the truth. Since I’m not the Holy Spirit - I am not responsible to ensure you embrace the truth. I’m just responsible to ensure you are informed of it. Truth is not relative - it is absolute.

In the words of a great man I’ve come to respect - the truth will set you free…but first it makes you mad.
