Kris Allen was named "American Idol" last week, but he and runner-up Adam Lambert are still busy with interviews in the Big Apple!
Allen happily posed for pictures after his appearance on "Live with Regis and Kelly." Adam will also stop by "Regis and Kelly" this week, but first he performed on the "Early Show."
Allen, Lambert and the top 10 "Idol" finalists will take the stage for a 50-city tour beginning July 5 in Portland, Oregon.

Kris is so far, really being the consummate professional, ESPECIALLY in sharing HIS limelight with Adam. That shows to me that he really is and ‘idol’. A good lesson out there - there’s room for everyone, and sharing doesn’t take anything away from what you have.
I only luv Adam… I used to like Kris not after his Mother blurt it out from the interview that her son Kris should be the American Idol, after all he doesn’t have any skeleton in the closet…. WTF!!!

After that comment I lost respect of Kris. Could careless if Kris winning. As far as we all know his crown is handed to him by the American Producer to add more drama at the end of the FINALE not counting the AT & T schemes.
