The amfAR benefit at the Hotel du Cap at Cannes was the place to be Thursday night, where Rob Pattinson's precious pucker was on the auction block!

Sharon Stone auctions off kisses from Robert Pattinson

Sharon Stone didn't have any trouble auctioning off two kisses from the "New Moon" megastar, whose smooches went for a total of $56,000!

During the evening, Stone personally donated $50,000 in memory of friend Natasha Richardson, who was an avid supporter of amfAR. A teary Sharon told the crowd, "Natasha said she would go on until there was a cure found for AIDS... When you were in a room with her, it was like being with an angel."

President Clinton also addressed the crowd, and actor Danny Glover helped auction off Clinton's saxophone, which set a bidder back $180,000!

Who wouldn’t want to kiss Rob Pattinson? But for $56,000, I would expect more that just a kiss at least a make out session.

What kind of parents would buy a kiss for their daughter?

i think the IDOL brass should look into the 38M votes fir KRIS a little closer. If you are given a 4 hour time frame to vote, then only the votes that came in in that allowable time frame should have been counted. How can they accept votes 3 hours after? If they know this happened for sure then ADAM should get the IDOL crown. I believe that he was the most talented and suspected that foul play took a part in this competition. The sad part is that the croked people from Arkansas took away a moment that ADAM will never get back and that is being named the winner of AMERICAN IDOL. I cannot believe that they will let this go without correcting it.

It had to be rigged. Adam was clearly the better of the two. And, I agree, there were way better singers that were voted off (Allison for one). Adam, you rock!!! I see a career there! Kris, not so much. With Kris, I see another Taylor Hicks. Kris who??

The voting is rigged. Just because Kris is religious shouldn’t have anything to do with if he can sing or not. There were several other people much better singers than Kris that were voted off too early. In my own opinion, I didn’t like Kris, didn’t think he sang well at all. Adam was clearly the winner and was robbed.

I can only speak for myself—All I know is that I tried to vote CONTINUOUSLY for the entire 4 hours, and was only able to get through FOUR TIMES in all that time!!! So I have no idea how Kris was able to get all those votes from his home town alone. BTW—I would have given ALL my votes to Adam!!! He SO deserved to win.
