Danny Glover talks about Mel Gibson

Through thick and thin, Danny Glover will stand by Mel Gibson. After 28 years of marriage, Robyn Gibson filed for divorce last month -- and Glover knows his "Lethal Weapon" co-star will be okay.

Danny tells "Extra," "Mel is an extraordinary man and certainly a friend. One of the most generous men that I have ever met." He adds, "I know that he'll come out of it and the whole family will come out of it."

Robyn and Mel have one daughter, six sons and two grandchildren. Mel's girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva is reportedly pregnant.

I think it’s great that Danny Glover is standing up for his friend of more than 20 years.
I also think that what is going on is no ones business. No matter who says what about who, it doesn’t make it our right to judge or act as though we even know what’s going on.
I wish all the best through this difficult time.

Danny Glover is a CLASS ACT, and always has been. THIS is how people should get to ‘know’ celebrities - through reports, stories, or those they call their peers and FRIENDS - NOT through gossip, conjecture, or, LEAST OF ALL,so called ‘entertainment’sites! Mr. Gibson WILL be alright. No one knows why his marriage ended; this happens a lot. I think it’s far worse when a marriage fails early - it just proves that neither partner has tried very hard to keep the marriage intact. Love you, Danny! Love you, Mel!
