Fawcett Likes 'Farrah's Story'

farrah fawcett likes her documentary

Farrah Fawcett opted to watch the screening of her documentary "Farrah's Story" at home with Ryan O'Neal and Alana Stewart, who revealed that the cancer-stricken "Angel" loved the film.

"She cried a few times... it was very emotional for her," Alana said of Farrah on "The Today Show" this morning. "She said 'I liked it very, very, very, very, very much.'"

The documentary's success is shadowed by the controversy surrounding the making of the film, as a lawsuit was filed by Farrah's confidante Craig Nevius, who claims that he was shut out of the project after working with Fawcett for 2 and a half years. "My job was to execute her vision," he explains.

Farrah's vision, he claims, did not include shackled son Redmond O'Neal paying a visit to his ailing mother. He also says that while Farrah didn't object to appearances by her fellow "Charlie's Angels," she wanted the focus of the film to be the medical plight of millions told in her words. "She was willing to give up a lot of privacy in order to help people and show alternative medicines offered in other countries."

The lawsuit was filed against Ryan O'Neal and Stewart, who says she's puzzled by the legal action. "I don't quite understand it," she said on "Today." Ryan confirmed that Farrah's full story hasn't been told yet -- and that her team is working on a second installment of her courageous battle.

Dear Farrah, Ryan & Alana: I lost a grand father and father in law to leukemia, Grandfather is 67 and father in law last September. I cried the off and on through your show. I think the suing is very stupid and uncalled for, you were and are a very brave woman for putting yourself out there. As the one poster said, the idiot’s who don’t understand what it takes to expose yourself to redicule. I think they are just jealous because they can’t have a piece of the financial pie. It’s up to you whether you want your son exposed to the world in this film and can’t wait to see the second part. I love what you are doing and I agree, why can’t they find a cure for ll types of cancer!! You, Ryan and Alana are all Angels in my books for doing this! I will and always will be praying for you, have faith sweetie!! ((((((Farrah, Ryan and Alana)))))) God bless!! *MUAH* oxox oxox oxox your Loving fan forever and Always Zdanax aka Sharilyn

I have been a fan of Farrah’s way before she was on Charlies Angels. Before she was the wife of Lee Majors, when she was doing commercials and guest starring on shows. Being in high school during Charles Angels made school more fun. When I was in LA I’d always drive by her house hoping to get a glimps of her or Lee and later Ryan. One time her dog ran out the gates and I caught it and brought it back home. One time I saw her playing tennis at Sonny Bono’s home. Seeing her beautiful face and smile in magazines I will miss. The joy of being pregnant the same time your favorite childhood star is was fun. I thought Farrah’s Story was done very well. It wouldn’t be the same without having Jaclyn smith and Kate Jackson in it or saying what they did. Lee Majors would have been also great. They did an excellent job and excellent at making people aware of cancer. I’ve never been around anyone that had cancer or what they go through. Yes her son has done bad things but he needed to be in the show. Seeing him climb in bed with his mother made me cry and happy he could be with her. He has a drug problem and being in jail does him no good. He should be under house arrest with a monitor with his dying mother under adult supervision. I applaud Ryan and Alana on how the show turned out. It was so touching and made me cry and I can’t get my thoughts off on all invloved. Farrah is lucky to have Ryan, Alana and her family doing what they are doing. I pray for a miracle that Farrah will get healthy again, I will miss her.

I lost my husband 1 1/2 years ago from a heart attack and I know how it feels to lose someone you love. My heart goes out to Ryan and Redman. I pray to God everyday that he will heal Farrah and give her life back to her. It hurts me to see people suffer like her. The special that was on tv made me cry for Farrah. Cancer is one of the worst things to happen to people because when you think you have beaten it, it creeps back unexpectedly. Maybe God will perform another miracle and make her whole again and cancer free. She seems to be a courageous and strong person of faith. May God bless her and her family.

After a long evening of work I was sooo happy that I HAD made it in to watch the SPECIAL by Farrah.Watching it reminded me of when I was much younger and all the young men were in Love with Farrah.

Fastforward the present;watching Farrah’s most private, intimate, insight with fighting her cancer;was so surreal, that all I could do was watch, cry and just think about her and ALL the family members and Friendf that I have lost to Cancer. So since then I have had her in my Heart, thoughts and Prayers. Also my strength.Thank-you.

And may GOD Bless!

I saw the “Farrah Story” on Sat. and I cried. Here is a woman who battling for her LIFE and opened up her heart to show all of us what are VERY PRIVATE moments in her life. Cancer is not a pretty thing. I saw it devour my Father. Their are other people in this world who are going thru the same type of cancer, they commented about it on the program. All I can say is: Keep Fighting. May God Bless Farrah for what she has showed us and given to us.
YOU GO GIRL!!!!!

Ya know I look @ it this way people….. Quit judgeing the spouse so much in a negative way. He hasn’t worked as much as Farrah; they’ve been together for a very long time. She wanted this noterity about her illness. Why can’t

Ryan forfill her wish without all u peps saying he’s trying to make a buck more off of her; including poor Ryans own son. Stay outta peoples private lives…… Let them forfill what they (the 2 of them have desided). God bless u both Ryan and Farrah……………. xo
