Carrie should keep her crown…and thanks to Donald Trump! She simply gave her opinion to a very controversial issue and this was freedom of speech? Employers don’t touch disciplining them, when arrogant attitudes need to be dealt with in the workplace…they get a free ride. Traditional marriage between man and woman is what most of us believe.

I think Donald Trump is a hypocrite. There are rules for a pagant and it should be honored. These women know the rules before they enter a pagant. Its ok that she express her feelings but its not ok to back out of her pagant duties to talk about gay issues which if she choose to do it afterwards its her choice. I’m also talking about the other one the Trump stuck up for that was doing drugs and drinking and acting wild. What kind of role models are they for the young girls to look up to. It too many young girl out there that are wild.

The real story here is the hateful backlash by Perez Hilton. In addition, Shanna Moakler’s “hissy-fit” resignation only adds to the overt nature of this issue - Carrie was not attacked because of pictures. She was attacked for her answer. The pictures were “discovered” when people did not like her answer. It wasn’t enough that Perez caused her to loose the crown. I can just hear him talking to his buddies…”let’s get her!”

As for pictures - they weren’t published and weren’t released to the public for publication. Published pictures are the ones that violate the contract with the Miss USA organization. Katie Rees is using this to her advantage to get back into the spotlight. I’m amazed at how many people are out to make a buck off this story!

As a side note, as a fellow Christian, I hope Carrie sees how dangerous posing in “semi-compromising” pictures can be. Carrie, don’t toe this line kiddo - run far away from it in order to maintain your integrity. “Run from the very appearance….”
