'Idol' Down to Three!

Goodbye, Allison Iraheta. The flame-haired teen phenom is out -- leaving Danny, Adam and Kris.

It's a man's world on "American Idol" -- Allison Iraheta was sent packing last night, leaving Danny Gokey, Adam Lambert and Kris Allen to battle it out.

The 17-year-old L.A. native, who has been criticized for a lack of "personality," was the youngest remaining contestant on the show. Only one other L.A. local, Katharine McPhee, made it to the top three.

Last night's show witnessed a performance by judge Paula Abdul, who showed that she's still got some great moves. A performance by Slash ended the week of Rock songs.

Now the boys will head to their hometowns for those over-the-top celebrations -- Kris to San Diego; Adam to Arkansas; Danny to Milwaukee.

This is just WRONG!!!! Allison has been consistently phenomenal all season, and this week, she not only did her best performance of the season, but THE best performance of the season. And Danny, who’s not that good to begin with, absolutely trainwrecked, and he made the Top 3. We were teased Tuesday night, with Allison and Adam’s stunning duet and their emergence as the obvious Top 2. America REFUSES to vote off Danny, no matter how badly he does. And now, they cost this sensational young singer who is one of the saving graces of an otherwise lackluster Top 13, a spot in the Top 3, the finale, and a shot at the crown.

Allison is going to go very far despite this, with her abundance of talent, spunk, and yes, Simon, PERSONALITY. Danny is going to go home to Wisconsin and back to rocking karaoke night at the church.
