Adorable Hollie Steel Breaks Down!

"Britain's Got Talent" precious competitor Hollie Steel made it to the semi-finals -- and during Friday's show her nerves got the best of her.

The 10-year-old tried to sing "Edelweiss" from "Sound of Music," but she forgot the lyrics and began to buckle under the pressure and cry. Hollie begged to start from the beginning, but was told she couldn't.

Creator and judge Simon Cowell then vetoed the producer's decision and allowed Hollie to perform again later in the broadcast. Hollie got through -- and could be Susan Boyle's toughest competition.

Tbh, wheather it was real or not, [saying it is] what parent lets that happen to their child, if that was my child I would have pulled her out of it saying she isnt old enough to cope with it, and bring her back when she is ready, and after a few more eyars of training

She’s just 10,let her be! I think she’s really brave. I can’t sing in front of thousands people, not even hundreds! I probably can’t even speak properly!

Thought what she did was very good however the spoiled brat act (wailing but no tears) were a bit of a turn off.

Perhaps she should have the ducts in her eyes checked by a professional.

She’s unable to produce tears despite the crying.
I’d be quite more worried about that than a mere song.

Oh that was so heartbreaking to watch! The poor thing. And I really wanted her to win it too. I have never seen a child react that way though- one minute hysterical and in a snap, composed and calm, although I think it was all just too much for her. Oh, I adore her so much, but I’m sure she’ll be back. I just wanted to hug her and make her smile. Hope she’s not too hard on herself.
