Will Simon Smooch Susan?

Millions have watched Susan Boyle belt her heart out on "Britain's Got Talent," and "Extra" talked to judge Simon Cowell about the Internet sensation!

Simon tells "Extra's" Terri Seymour that Boyle's performance made a bad day into a memorable one. He says, "I remember we were up in Scotland and had a terrible, terrible day. I was bored. I was frustrated. And this little old lady comes on stage [and I say,] 'Here we go again.'" Cowell was immediately ready to dismiss the 47-year-old. He says, "I thought this audition was going to last three seconds. So did the audience." Cowell was pleasantly surprised. "Then she started to sing and I've never ever felt anything like it in my life. The whole place just turned. And it was just the most astonishing feeling at the time."

For once, Simon is happy! He's glad to see Susan is such a big hit. Cowell says, "She's a sensation over the world. Good for her... I'm really happy for her because she's a really, really sweet person. This is going to change her life."

Although Boyle has been ridiculed for her looks all her life, Cowell says, "Part of her charm is the fact she is what she is. She's not particularly worried about the way she looks... she's just someone who loves singing. I don't think she's aware of what's happening to her."

Susan has admitted she's never been kissed, but Cowell declares, "No, I will not be the first person to kiss her." Cowell's fellow "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson sings a different tune. He tells Seymour, "I think Simon and I should do a dual kiss on each cheek on Susan Boyle. I'll fly to London with him. We will sit right beside her and kiss her at the same time. We'll do a countdown to the kiss."

The mean judge also cleared up rumors about tension between "AI" judges Paula Abdul and Kara DioGuardi. Simon comments, "They both seem to get along well... As far as I'm concerned, we'll all be back on it next year." He continues, "There's no weirdness going on behind the scenes as it's being reported. It's simply not true."

Simon, please don’t play Ramsey. Play Moses. Let Susan go at full speed to be recorded and share that beautiful gift she have within voice. Susan has nothing to prove. You guys may want to exploit her on your show, just to get ratings. You as a producer have the powers to release her from her contract on that show, where she needs to prove herself. She has been through so much in her life; please don’t continue to use her. She is a Pro and don’t really need to be on that show to prove a damn thing. I have the show reconsider their decision to exploit her rather than helping her to advance. The voice of an angel, the very best to you.

- Susie, this is extra extra mag, Ok mag is not on this story. Thanx for sharing that info. Paula and Kara get along beautiful……. others are trying to drive a wedge between the two ladies…….. They are both talented ladies. I like them having four judges, it makes it interesting. It all comes out in the wash anyway. Leave them be, they are doing a fantastic job.

Susan is SENSATIONAL!!!!! Thank you, Simon, for giving her a platform to share her amazing talent with the world. And come on, Simon, give her a kiss!!! And give her a record deal, too, win or lose!!!! I do think she will win it all, though. Who could possibly beat her?

I think this will let others look at Susan differently. I don’t want Simon to be her first kiss; she has waited this long, it should be from someone she loves.

Shame on you, Extra, for your make-over story on Susan Boyle. You could have merely discussed her beautiful voice, but instead you made it about her looks. Why? The message you sent on the show and on this web site seems to focus on her flaws. The lesson we should have learned really was not to judge a book by its cover. You, however, want to replace the cover. Again, shame on you for Susan’s “makeover.”

“And this little old lady comes on stage…” Susan Boyle is 47 and Simon is 49, yet he has the nerve to refer to her this way. Does he call himself an old man? I think not.

I loved the smile on Simons face when Susan started to sing. I think that Idol should vote Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson off next week. Then we could all smile like that. They were both horrible.-Cheryl

I don’t watch AI and have never thought about Simon one way or the other but he was so sexy with that easy smile that broke out as he watched her sing. That’s the part that I watch over and over!

Susan said she wanted to sing for a large augience. Well Susan, never have the words “The World is now your Stage” been truer. I have watched this lovely lady over and over since yesterday morning, and each time it just keeps getting better. Don’t try to change her - that is so much of her appeal - she came out there on that stage just plain Susan Boyle from a little village, and I’d like to see her go back home, just Susan, but not needing that job now. If we here in the good old USA could be permitted to vote - Mine would be the first. Thank you Susan for sharing your incredible gift from God with us - it is a gift I will forever treasure!

Im sick of this Paula vs Kara crap. its ONLY because they are women. and women, according to the media, apparently can Not get along but have to be jealous and hate each other. where are all the Simon vs Randy articles???! why does OK magazine never have a cover that says “idol War- simon VS Randy- one Has to go”. UGH. its clearly a mans world!
