VOTE: Susan's Makeover!

"American Idol" makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy and DailyMakeover.com have teamed up with "Extra" to give "Britain's Got Talent" and Internet sensation Susan Boyle a new look!

Hussainy says her eyebrows need to be shaped to open up her eyes, and foundation is a must! Hussainy tells "Extra," "She's got a lot of rosy in her cheeks. She needs a nice foundation that will give her a nice finish."

The "Idol" beauty master agrees Susan's hair needs help. She says it is the wrong length. Mezhgan says Susan's 'do needs to be longer and smoothed out.

DailyMakeover.com created the final look! Boyle has groomed brows, a touch of foundation, and a whiter smile!

I also agree! These hairstyles make her look like she does have a wig on and not a good one. She just needs a little touch from a good stylist like we all would love. Everytime I see her I think she is prettier than before. Just think about how many stars are similar to Susan and have wonderful talent like her. Take Kate Smith, Aretha Franklin and so many others. It is the talent that counts. When you listen to a CD do you think of the looks of who is singing or the beautiful music you are hearing?

Susan Glows from the inside. That will always be her best feature no matter her ‘style’. I like the bob cut but think they should have left her natural color. It is more a part of who she is and her personal beauty. I think a salt and pepper bob is classy. The point is, what does Susan think?

PLEASE! why cant people accept S.Boyle as she is?!?! her look is her EVERYthing, NOT to mention how could this possibly be affecting her!?! ALL the people who seem to feel she needs ANY sort of “make~over” needs to step into her shoes and hear how the world wants her to become someone she isnt! just look at ALL the stars who have gone thru “make~overs” and how it ruins them, literally AND figuratively! the lovely Ms.Susan Boyle should be left to be the WAY she desires to be! thanX fer yer time =]

No makeover please!

I like the look of the “bob”, but even more so, I like her just as she is.

How she looks in reality is part of her charm.

She looks stunning with the Bob and bangs. She has a pretty face, and a gorgeous smile.

for the love of god can we for once not obsess about a womans looks. She has an amazing talent and looks don’t alter her voice one little bit.
I don’t remember Pavarotti exactly being a swimwear model but no one ever suggested that he should change his weight or looks.
double standards maybe.
Let her decide what she wants instead of all these vacuous so called news articles obsessing about her appearance

A makeover would certainly increase Susan’s chances of getting her first kiss.

It’s up to Susan if she wants the makeover or not. She is a woman and women loved to be pampered at least once in their lifetime.

I have this feeling that she will go for the makeover.

I am glad Susan is not a shallow person.

You go Susan.

Part of why i like Susan is, that i feel she is ordinary, as i am. Susan is demonstrating that ordinary people are extraordinary. Susan also sings that there is hope for me in my ordinary life, for my dreams. She has similar feelings to my feelings. Susan is there for me, my representative.

Amid the frenzy yesterday, Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden made a plea for the 47-year-old churchgoer from Blackburn, West Lothian, to stay just the same.

Amanda, 38, told ITV News: “I won’t let Simon Cowell take her to his dentist and I certainly won’t let her near his hairdresser.

“She needs to stay exactly as she is because that’s the reason we love her. She just looks like anybody who could live on your street.

“The minute we turn her into a glamour-puss is when it’s spoilt. That can perhaps come later when she’s signed the album deal and conquered America.

“For now we’ll keep her exactly as she is because that’s why we’ve all fallen in love with her. I think it’s the underdog thing. It’s somebody who’s looked after her mother all her life. She’s had real dreams, real aspirations and obviously she thought she’d had to say goodbye to those things.”

I agree w/ Dawn. She’s never had a chance to sing before until now and she’s probably never had a chance to get an actual makeover. If she wants it, go for it, I say! But if she doesn’t, she absolutely FINE the way she is. :-D

Susan is beautiful - and has all the qualities of beauty: in her extraordinary voice, in her courage to advance her dream, in her lovely, proud carriage, and most of all, in her composure. She has it all. Susan charmed the world at the moment of her performance, and since. She is a phenomenon.

I agree with those who say, “leave her looks alone.” And yet by her very efforts to advance a dream, who knows that she doesn’t WANT an element of change? I would, if I were in her shoes. WHAT FUN! The whole earth at your feet. Take a chance! Feel beautiful in a new way. Try it out. But only if SHE, Susan wants it.

Don’t, for God’s sake, allow Susan’s handlers to make her another “Amanda”: Barbie doll, skinny, stringy-haired, over-made-up blonde. The world is overpopulated with these already. (Who is Amanda Holden anyway?)

Please, people, don’t mess with this lovely lady in SOMEONE ELSE’S TERMS: If Susan, herself, wants to change her looks, help her. PLEASE don’t touch the essence.

We’ve got greatness here. Don’t wreck it!

Yes give her a makeover, she deserves it, only if she want it.

HEY russrjn, duh, everyone already knows that she is destined to be a huge star, broadway, plays, acting, albums.

The only thing to hold her back would be Susan. She has been waiting to be discovered all these years and F-I-N-A-L-L-Y, SHE IS OWN HER WAY TO STARDOM.

Your styles are a joke! True she does need some direction, but get real the woman is in her 40s. Her waves & curls are great. As seen her talent overshadows her looks.

These hair styles are a joke, right? They are unflattering and unsophisticated, to say the least. Your stylist needs to go back to school. There are half a dozen stylists in my family, and I’m sure they would agree.
