Sarah Jessica Parker and hubby Matthew Broderick are going to be parents again!

The couple just announced that they are expecting twin daughters this summer, who will be born via a surrogate mother. AP reports that the couple is "overjoyed" to welcome their girls.

Matthew, 47, and SJP, 44, have one son together -- James Wilkie.

Yeah, I guess it IS stupid (they’re getting a bit long in the tooth for this endeavor, they’re never home, they don’t know if their marriage can withstand this new pressure). Maybe not as stupid as having babies WITHOUT a husband, or NOT EVEN KNOWing who the father is, or having 5, 6, 8 kids at a time w/ no financial means…..

He doesn’t look happy or comfortable with his arms around her. He sure has aged…possibly stress of faking it? She looks to be “trying” to look happy. I think having children when your marriage is in trouble is stupid, stupid, stupid. It’s not like she accidentally got pregnant since she’s using a surrogate!! This doesn’t make sense.

Extra…. why do you have to stoop to the level of the rags and show the picture of the possible surrogate. Get some class and stop endorsing that its ok to invade someones privacy. Ratings doesn’t make it ok.

All these shows pretend to be better than the rags.. not quite.

Oooooh….not good Jessica. Altho your son needs a brother or sister, certainly not with this loser. Matthew is not a good man, this will not solve anything…I feel so badly about this one.

classic case, you are so right. Further, having children makes it much, much harder to get out of a bad marriage.

News for you Matt and Jess, having kids does NOT preserve a marriage. It doesn’t save it, doesn’t make it all better. It only complicates and amplifies the problems you had BEFORE the kids.
