Momma Phelps: Pot Pics Are a Lesson Learned

The world was stunned when pics surfaced showing Olympian Michael Phelps toking from a bong. Phelps' mom Debbie sat down with Matt Lauer to talk about her son -- and her book "A Mother for All Seasons." Was Debbie disappointed in her son's choice to smoke marijuana?

That's the high truth! Momma Phelps was totally let down, telling Lauer, "It was difficult," and, "We all have many obstacles in our life. It's part of growing up." Debbie also chatted to MomLogic.com about her son's sex symbol status -- check it out here!

"A Mother for All Seasons" swims into bookstores today.

NEXT: Violet's Ride

Was mom disappointed? DUH.

Any parent would be. What is so wrong with ones self that they feel the need to “alter” (even if for a moment) WHOM THEY ARE?? THAT is what pleasure drugs are. They are NOT AT ALL necessary to sustain ones life, or being. They are an ESCAPE, a TEMPORARY CHEMICAL high to get away from lifes stresses.

What ever happened to taking a walk, working out, or listening to some music that you love? Why ingest something into your body? I just don’t understand where “common sense” goes in such decisions?

My question for Mama Phelps: How could you ever push out such a fugly, mushmouth, Frankenstein-like, inarticulate, borderline retar|ded goon?????? I wish them well. :]
