Is it true that Melissa Rivers flipped out when she was fired from "Celebrity Apprentice" -- and mother Joan apparently quit shortly after?

Cry me a Rivers, it's true! Melissa lost it when Trump told her she was fired, and retorted, "F*** you both, good bye," and stormed off set. The celebuspawn was followed quickly by her mother Joan -- who competed on an opposite team! As she left, Joan said, "I wish the two of you a lot of luck -- I'm not coming in tomorrow."

NBC has no comment on the incident.

we here in south africa are watching the celebrity show and Joan Rivers was a firm favourite for a lot of us here but after watching them in this show her and her daughter we are sad to say her daughter was so childest and need to grow up and stop hiding behind her mother. Have you guys been watching the show!?! Ummm.. yes NBC has been using some creative editing, but overall, the impression is that Joan and Melissa Rivers have looked like total B*atches…. Melissa has no outright talent… she is just the offspring of a longstanding talented comedian whom i lost a lot of respect after seeing the season. Annie on the other hand has been cut-throat, but she never insulted or started any attacks vs. the River’s duo. Annie will win… she deserves it… and in the end, other than the charities doing well, who cares about the bickering!?!

I am not a fan of Joan Rivers or her daughter Melissa, however, I A*SSOLE ANNIE and that stupid blond bimbo BRAINESS BRANDIE treated Melissa unfairly. Melissa wanted to help out but A*SSOLE ANNIE and BRAINLESS BRANDIE left Melissa out. Melissa had nothing to do with them losing since both wenches would not allow Melissa to help with the task.

When their team lost, A*SSOLE ANNIE should have been the one to go home since it was her and BRAINLESS BRANDIE’S ideas. Melissa had nothing to do with their team losing since they would not let Melissa help out.

Joan Rivers is outspoken and I admire her for speaking her mind. I would have said worse things to A*SSOLE ANNIE and BRAINLESS BRANDIE.

I am not a fan of the River’s ladies, however in this case I am. I saw the show and saw how unfair A*SSOLE ANNIE and BRIANLESS BRANDIE CAN BE.

I am hoping that Joan River’s wins.

Joan Rivers is Hollywood trash, she only opens her mouth to make people look bad, “NAZI”, is her typical example. She looks like a monster after so many plastic surgeries, she has no excuse for herself. Her stupid daughter is her spitting image, she doesn’t know when to shut-up, and is a swore looser. I thought Donald Trump had more class than put up with trash like this, how much more “Nazi” comments does he need to listen to find out that this makes his show look cheap. Melissa didn’t stand a chance. Melissa needed to be conniving and manipulative like those 2 who*e hounds.

Melissa Rivers is a spoiled brat that couldn’t make it in real corporate America. I love how she embellished her “accomplishments” in business. I don’t buy her abusive boyfriend story either. Hope that idiot of a “mother” really quit, but she’ll be back, being a camera w*ore, and all.

Rivers embarrassed herself. She behaved like a child—it’s actually sad -she clearly has issues dating back to her teenage years (not being popular in highschool) that she is still dealing with… into her late 40’s. It is sad, she is emotionally childlike and it seemed liked she felt entitled to win. When she said,”tell me what I did wrong, I did everything that was asked of me”, it was painful— she seems to be missing some basic understanding about how things work.

Melissa Rivers is nothing more than a spoiled whining brat. I think even though Joan kind of wigged out, she is a classy lady and will be back. Her initial thought was to stand up for her daughter. Melissa deserved to be fired as I couldn’t stand her constant two year old tantrums for another minute. Then instead of exiting with class, she threw the biggest tantrum of all and in my opinion made a total fool of herself. But then again I expected nothing less of her. Annie may be manipulative but come on they are playing a game and Annie simply outplayed Melissa and poor Melissa can’t take the rejection.

first of all….Jesse James ROCKS (despite his sub-par contributions this week - all the things that won it for them were his ideas anyway!)

That being said…

I do think Melissa was treated unfairly, but her reactions were disproportionate to what was happening, and that is what makes me feel that her firing was deserved. Her constant complaining about not getting enough praise was ridiculous! I do think she’s a fairly competent person, but I also think she’s only a celebrity because of her (extraordinarily talented) mother. I don’t think I would have been able to work with her, which is not a validation of disgusting-Anny and idiot/follower-Brande’s behavior.

Joan will be back. She specifically did NOT say she was quitting, but that she wouldn’t be in the next day. That is a woman who is cognizant of her every syllable (volunteered to be catcher on the javelin team! :) )

While I didn’t care for Melissa’s swearing after she was fired, I was truly appalled at how she was treated by the poker player and bunny. Donald Trump again proves that the type of leadership he’s looking for is one of undermining and backroom deals. I keep hoping Ivanka will influence him.

I can’t comment on Joan’s reaction as I’m not a Mom. She’s a fighter!!

I am really very disappointed in all the celebrities in this season of Apprentice. As for the firing of Melissa, I have mixed emotions. Yes the other two did cut her out but the two Rivers during this whole season have been very outspoken and critical of others. I sometimes wonder if this wasn’t written into the script. It made for Good TV to some!

Melissa needs to get a grip. It’s just a damn game. She deserved to go. She’s not even half as smart as Annie Duke, and if she whines and complains like that, she would never make it in business in the real world. She only has a career because of her mother. If her mother were not famous, she would be making no money and at a job that does not deal with customers directly, because she is so unattractive.

Melissa is a smart woman, period!!! Annie is a poker player, trash!!! And the blonde one is a stupid woman, she dances after a poker player, she stayed just because she raised more money, of course she would raise money, she is a play boy beach, but no brains whatsoever!!! As for mother River, you cant quit just because your daughter is being fired, I understand mother-daughter bond, but its stupid to be there on the 1 place. Business is business, so having said that you showed your crazy side of yourself!!!!!
