Megan: Joyful to Leave 'Idol'?

"American Idol" hopeful Megan Joy got the boot from the singing competition last night, but was the single mom looking forward to packing up her mic?

Sing it aloud -- that's true! On Fox Reality Channel's show, "American Idol Extra," Megan confessed that she was anxious to get home to her baby. "I've been ready to go home to my kid," Joy admitted to Simon, who replied, "I could see that -- I could feel that."

Next week, the "Idol" hopefuls go back in time to croon a tune released in the year they were born.

I think she is a beautiful girl with an ugly attitude. I loved her voice but feel her “cocky” attitude to the movers-and-shakers in the music industry will be her downfall. A couple of the judges have been known to sign other idol contestants even though they did not win. She may have shot herself in the foot IF she wants to make it as a singer.

I wish her the best as she returns home to her young son.

I loved her, I just think she was trying to get sent home without quiting, so that she could be with her son, I think she really missed him. Although I dont have any tattoos or peiceings, I think she is a gorgeous girl, the way she is, I think she hs a great deal of talent, and we will hear her on the radio some day. Her dimenor might have been uncalled for, but I think she was trying to get sent home to be with her son. I believe she wants to be a singer, but she also wants to be able to see her child and be a good mamma, I think she can do both, without American Idol.

She wasnt going gonna win it with the tacky sleve she wears on her right arm anyway. That attitude sure didnt help a thing. So I guess now she squaking all the home…

To be so rude and to say “I don’t care”,is a waste of time to the judges,the viewers.and her son. She was getting constructive critism from a top record producer. Does she know how many people would have loved to be in her shoes? This was not the time to be cocky!!!

I THOUGHT SHE WASN’T GOING TO MAKE IT. It SEEMS TO ME SHE DIDN’T WANT IT BAD ENOUGH LIKE THE OTHER AMERICAN IDOLS.
