Madonna: 'I Want to Provide Mercy with a Home'

Despite having her bid to adopt a young Malawian girl denied, Madonna has emailed one of the nation's newspapers to explain why she'd still like to care for Mercy, 3.

Madonna in London with Lourdes

Madonna, seen yesterday at London's Heathrow Airport with daughter Lourdes, wrote, "I want to provide Mercy with a home, a loving family environment and the best education and healthcare possible." She added, "It's my hope that she, like David, will one day return to Malawi and help the people of their country."

The singer's statement continues, "Though I have been advised that I cannot publicly discuss the pending appeal regarding my desire to adopt Mercy, I do want to say how much I appreciate the level of support that I have received from the people of Malawi and my friends around the world."

Why doesn’t she just take ‘no’ for an answer, like a grownup, and move on???

Lemme get this headline straight..

“madonna wants to provide mercy a home”

Only the lord could have mercy on her soul. She is known the world over as a SKANK. She can’t keep a marriage together, let alone a family? What the hell is she thinkin?

I agree “a media ho” is this woman at best.

laughable headline

You see? She’s nothing if not a publicity hound. This inability to keep something private, might be one of the reasons she’s not a candidate for certain things. If you do something great, the whole world doesn’t ever have to know. It just seems like showing off. Right, oprah?
