Keira Knightley in Graphic Domestic Violence PSA
Two months after Rihanna and Chris Brown were allegedly involved in a very physical confrontation, a disturbingly graphic PSA about domestic violence featuring Keira Knightley has hit the Internet.
In the ad from the UK charity Woman's Aid, the Oscar-nominated actress is violently beaten by a man. The ad ends with the staggering statistic: "2 women die from domestic violence every week."

My sympathy runs shallow if at all for Rihanna and her domestic abuse situation. She has what very little women have: money (millions of dollars to be exact, to assist with a new home, court costs, protection ect, ect, support from many, and resources that won’t limit her “escape,” from an abusive bf or husband. I think she just likes the attention it has given her, or she would have left long ago. No one loves their bf THAT much. I think fear keeps women in situations like that, and with all her money, she has no reason to fear. She could hire a bodyguard if she wanted to. However, I think the new ad speaks volumes. I think graphic ads are sometimes a must to grab peoples attention to a certain cause. Just look at what a stir this is causing, and it if forces people to take a closer look at something they would otherwise ignore, what’s the harm in that?
