Two-time "Dancing with the Stars" champ Julianne Hough is ready to retire her dancing shoes after this season!

"I've been on for five seasons and trying to juggle both careers is very exhausting, so I'm just going to take a little break," Hough tells "Extra" of her decision to leave the ballroom.

Julianne recently nabbed the Best New Artist award at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas.

Hough and her partner, real-life beau Chuck Wicks, battle it out on the dance floor when "Dancing with the Stars" continues tonight on ABC.

I’ll miss Julianne on DWTS, but she is every bit as amazing a singer as she is a dancer, so more power to her if she wants leave the show to focus on her music career. She can always come back to sing on a results show.
