Jon Gosselin Responds to Cheating Rumors

Jon and Kate Plus 8 will return for season 8

"Jon & Kate Plus 8's" Jon Gosselin tells "Extra" he "showed poor judgment" after he was photographed with a female friend. Jon and the "other woman" are featured on the cover of this week's Us Weekly.

Gosselin tells "Extra," "Like most people, I have male and female friends and I'm not going to end my friendships just because I'm on TV." The TLC star continues, "However, being out with them late at night showed poor judgment on my part. What makes me sick is that my careless behavior has put my family in this uncomfortable position."

Gosselin says, "My family is the most important thing in my life and it kills me that these allegations have hurt them."

i hate jon.. i think he is a stupid dumbass who doesnt know what respect means. when u have 8 children with someone YOU DONT GO OUT TO HAVE DRINKS WITH A 23 YEAR OLD. sorry but if anyone thinks thats ok why dont u put yourself in kates position.

First off, i dont think he is cheating on kate with an average ugly woman so she must be cool as hell,backing up his friendship thing. If he was gonna cheat im sure he could of had no problem finding a super hot girl to keep her mouth shut for the nite n go to a QUITE!! Place. If he did cheat, i would totally understand why, no offence to kate but she litterally asked him to do it. but anyway best of luck to the both of you i hope it works out

I THINK THAT JON AND KATE DO WELL. Hope they keep it together, a divorce would be horrendous for all those kids just when they are heading toward their teen years. There are unintended consequences to their actions and they need to live with their choices and make the best of their circumstances. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you…

First of all, for people who beleives that Jon and Kate does not show much love in the show, just keep in mind that TLC edits a lot out like hours worth, so there is so much we are not seeing, think about it, have you ever sen their bedroom???? Noooooooooooooo, maybe they dont believe in pda, esp. being a mother and father of eight.
And for all of their attention and trips, hey that’s living the good life…dont hate

This is what happens when people put their “lives” on camera for the world to see. This is not to educate people or even help parents. These poor children… They did not even have a say in having their childhoods filmed for the world to see. This is about money, money and money. I realize that it must cost a lot of money to raise these children… However, this family gets so many freebee’s because of their show. Trips to Disney World, ski trips, trips to New York, Chicago and Los Angles for television interviews. THen the great trip to Hawaii. I would call both of these indiviudals selfish, selfish. Maybe Kate more than Jon, who says he works at home..However, I never see him working. They have a million dollar home and a pathetic life. I think these children are going to have some serious resentment when they grow up and realize that their parents used them as a gravy train. I wonder if in the future, these children are going to be able to sue their parents for money they “earned” for them by exploiting them.

where is Kate while this is happening?? oh yeah, spending days on end away from her children and husband to promote her book. Money is number one to Kate, and she is never with her children anymore. 24 of the last 27 days Kate has been away from her family and away making that money. At least Jon is home with the kids till bedtime. After the stress of 8 children that he does everything for, let him go have a little fun

Everyone has problems, just remember who bought you two together. Thank your stars whether they are bright or not life isn’t perfect. No one knows what tomorrow my bring. Jon & Kate needs our Prayers now more than ever. Don’t look back on mistakes look forward to new tomorrows. Live for the future not the past. All parents need time away. I’m sure more so when you have 8 kids and a super nagging wife. There is nothing wrong with going out for the night and having drinks with friends as long as you still take care of your responsibilities. There is nothing wrong with getting a babysitter for the evening. I’m sure almost every parent has. He is well derserving of some alone time. He is a hardworking man supporting a family of 10! When is it his turn to get a break? I don’t know too many people who caould handle going to work everyday and coming home to take care of 8 children and deal with a woman like that. I would have run away along time ago.

It’s best if people mind there own business. It’s hard enough having 8 kids. When in the public eye, everyone thinks the worst. After all it’s more interesting to read that even he could be faithful, isn’t it?

He would never mess around on his wife, Kate. He just wanted to go out with a friend like us married couples like to do once in a while. Their is no harm in going out with your friends. People are making this little picture bigger then what it really is to be seen. Jon & Kate will always be together and will always be each others best friends.
