Demi to the Rescue... Via Twitter?!

Did Demi Moore save a woman's life with her tweets?

God bless the Internet -- that's true! The drama played out online early this morning when a woman replied to one of Moore's tweets, saying she was going to cut her arm with a knife. The actress was quick to respond and said, "hope you are joking."

Moore's tweet inspired other Twitterers to contact police in the woman's Silicon Valley, Calif. hometown, where the woman was found unharmed.

Demi did the right thing. The woman told only Demi the information. Then Demi passed it along. The woman’s Twitter follwer friends called the police and she was helped. Some people are trying to get publicity off of this woman’s private problems which is terribe.

Have any of you read the latest BS over on E!? It’s hilarious! Several posters (who probably have no relation to Demi whatsoever) lashed out at some of us posters for pointing out like sassy did that Demi didn’t really save that woman’s life, the people who called 911 did. They are going into spin control, pointing out that Demi herself never said anything about her being a hero etc, etc, Ad Nauseum! Seriously, if she didn’t like the story, she could have easily spoken out against it, via her twitter and that message would appear here one of these tabloid outlets. (Hint I use that phrase in my post)

I give Demi many kudos for reaching out and caring. Even more kudos to those who called 911.

Are you people insane?! She didn’t call the police, all she did was respond to the woman’s twitter and it was others reading the twitter message who called the police! THEY ARE THE HEROES! Not Demi!
