Cowell Done with 'Idol'?

Is Simon Cowell ready to move on from "American Idol"?

That's the honest truth! Cowell told The Daily Mirror he's thinking about leaving the show after his contract is up next season. In addition to his duties on "American Idol," Simon works on Britain's "X Factor" and "Britain's Got Talent."

Cowell confessed, "I can't imagine not doing 'Britain's Got Talent' and I can't imagine not doing 'The X Factor.' But I guess America is more likely to go because I have got one year under contract." He continued, "Maybe that will be the end."

The "mean" judge also makes the point that he doesn't want to come off as "whiny," but "there is a point where I am not sure we can keep this schedule up."

There would be a hugh gap in the show if Simon left. He thinks of it as leaving the show-He IS the show. It just would not be worth watching.

No way can Simon leave Idol, he is the one we all listen to. Also I think he and Terri should get married. They make a perfect couple. He needs to get her to marry him before someone else does. She is so pretty and they just fit together.

Simon you can’t leave. If you do American Idol will not last on TV. You make the show for me. Your expresstion is what I watch for. Please don’t let us down and sign another contract next year.

are the only reason I watch. There will
be no American idol left it will be
CANCELLED forever.I swear to god I will
stop watching everyone will stop watchin
you are such an inspiration to me I did
not think I was a good singer but it was
until I started watching idol that I might try singing again.If you leave I
will not have my inspiration any more.Do
not go please Simon. Everyone wil miss you

simon cowell’s is the only voice the contestants long to hear. They live for his critique, because HE tells it like it REALLY IS!

He does not act like a grown up on the show. He is always carrying on with Paula. The show is not that good this year and it should be topping last years. I think its time for Simon to go.

PLEASE don’t even THINK about leaving Idol, Simon!!! There would be no show without you!!! If they tried to do the show without Simon, it would not even last one episode. They would have to pull it in midstream and put up a test pattern. Simon IS American Idol; there is no substitute for him, and no way to carry on in his absence.

Simon is the only judge who makes the show entertaining, it would be boring without him.
