To ‘There is no fairness here’: FORGET about any more hub-bub surrounding the so-called ‘comedian’ foxx. The ‘powers that be’ have made sure to bury it quick, so they can leave room for important things like lingerie ads, or any other egregious sin that a ‘conservative’ might commit. As for your comment, white people, or as I PREFER,the more accurate, European-Americans, have to protect themselves(in a perfect world, everyone would be expected to do the same). Apparently, everyone else believes that Euro-Americans are the only ones capable of doing so, since all other groups all have their ‘guardians’, or minions, crybabies, and self-appointed protectors (sitters). I think that is very condescending, by the way. I’d be insulted, that there were those who think I’m so weak and fragile, that I need constant help in defending who I am. It’s unfortunate, but it has been set up that way. I myself do not adhere to such lunacy; everyone has the capacity to ignore, defend, fight, whine, complain, or just let things go. And THAT’S how I treat everyone - with the same respect that I expect to be given. I’ve never had one problem with anyone I’ve had the pleasure to know from any group, culture, preference, or demographic.

Ok, NAACP protects black people, the RAINBOW COALITION protects gay people, who or what group protects the white people? There is nobody, and that is a travesty. There should be fairness across the board, there isn’t. Can someone please tell me who or what group protects white people.

Notice the CLASS with which Billy Ray Cyrus conducted his distaste for foxx’s comment. No lawyers. No ‘spokepeople’. No rabble-rousers. No name-calling.No front-page news threats.Just an honest appeal, letting him know that HE also has a daughter, and wouldn’t enjoy someone commenting on her. Think back a little now, at some of the other, similar cases — notice the DIFFERENCE?????

Jamie Foxx IS COLORED AND is racist. END OF STORY. PERIOD. According to the NAACP title, that is the correct term to call Jamie Foxx, “COLORED”.

We’re ALL children of God - including Michael Richards, Don Imus, Isaiah Washington, Kelis,Mel Gibson, Jesse Jackson,jamie foxx, etc. It just seems like some (above) perpetrators of hate comments are swept under the carpet, while others are seemingly banished from society - EVEN AFTER MANY APOLOGIES THAT ARE DEMANDED, only to be rejected. Meanwhile, I didn’t buy FOXX’S ‘apology’. He made a sarcastic joke out of it, and absolutely no one has a problem with it; he’s on TV, “”“mentoring”“” of all things!!!!, going on talk shows,and hawking his movie, the next week or so. Anyone who doesn’t see this as prejudice in itself, is merely turning a blind eye to it.

In my lifetime, and in my experience, the ‘black folk’I know of have NEVER been afraid to say what’s on their minds (if they are, they always have the id sharpie to put words in their mouths, and negative thoughts in their minds). If foxx’s rant, however, is an indication of what’s on HIS mind, he should PROBABLY keep his gross, inappropriate mouth shut. THAT’S what MY comments are about. I’m tired of the double standard, which, by the way, I find condescending and patronizing to ‘black folk’, if you really stop to think about it. If you don’t understand, perhaps I can explain it to you.

I thught black people didn’t like to be called “colored”, yet it is on NAACP title.

So now black people are “COLORED”? What’s up with that?

When a 16 year old child is allowed to move her 20 year old boy-friend into her home, the innocence factor diminishes. In comedic stylings, the intent is not vicious (as is evidenced by the apology). Where there is vicious intent, there are no apologies, simply dumbfounded affets (facial expressions).

Black folk got tired of being scared to speak out when being verbally. physically, emotionally, and psychologically abused. So as a community, they organized and declared “no more!” Whites are just beginning to get abused, when they get tired, they’ll do the same. Right now they are still in shock.

I am so outraged, I can’t even think right now. Is this true? Why is it, then, that European-Americans have to ‘grin and bear it’, rise above it, ignore it, and forgive and forget, when any kind of insult is hurled at THEM?!?!?!? Yet, if that same European-American is the voice of ANY insult aimed at ANY OTHER group outside of ‘his own’, you can hear the nooses tightening all over the country, sharpton and jackson and whomever else w/ too much time on their hands, come slithering out of the woodwork to beat it into the ground (and are allowed free reign to do so)til even THEY’RE sick of hearing about it?? You know fuoxx’s (intentional misspell)punishment? Being A M-E-N-T-O-R on American IDol, and plugging his movie all over TV, incl. the Tyrable show. Justice for ALL? I think not.
