0309brown.jpg

New reports suggest that Chris Brown could get a plea deal after allegedly assaulting his pop star girlfriend, Rihanna -- and rumor has it Brown doesn't want jail time, and will only plead to a misdemeanor charge.

Tell "Extra" -- should Chris get a plea deal?

CB will get of the hook just like OJ did when he murdered his wife Nicole Simpson. OJ got a fair trial back then. OJ was guilty and still got off the hook and so will CB. Media frenzy or not.

I think there is a lot more to this issue than we know. The fact that Rihanna is assisting in getting Chris out of this jam let’s me know we don’t and may never know the true story. The media has started such a frenzy that he would never get a fair trial anyway. That being said who are we to judge.

Well I think chris brown should take time in jail for his behavior its not right to hit a girl even though she might get out of hand. On the other hand we have rihanna marrying an abuser which most likely will put his had on her again since he did it once. She’s stupid for taking him back all that’s showing chris is that he’s got it like that! Which it shouldn’t be that way!

i totally think that it is wrong to hit a woman..but at the same time for what they were saying that Rihanna hit Chris first cause of a stupid txt msg he received..she went all crazy on him..if she wouldnt of done that she wouldnt of gotten her bootie beat..thats my opinion..so i honestly think that he shouldnt get in trouble for this..well peace out..

I think chris brown didn’t do anything wrong from what I read is that Riahanna hit him 1st there shouldn’t be anything against chris brown ya I no it aint right 2 hit a woman but Riahanna aint no woman she’s a man abuser and she knows it she won’t testify because she 2 sprung off chris brown when chris don’t want her can’t you guys see she don’t wanna do anything 2 put him away cause she knows she did wrong and she knows there’s somethin else 2 it so CHRIS SHOULD BE A FREE MAN p.s shorty age 16

It’s not Ok for anyone to physically hit, abuse or mentally abuse someone period. The fact that he didn’t bring up charges against her is his fault. The DA’s office did what they are paid to do bring charges against anyone who physically abuses someone else with proof of course!. Because of 3 witnesses they have a case. If there weren’t any witnesses there would be no case. She is a fool for taking him back. I was abused and a. I left him but it had to take my family to help me because I stayed with him because he threaten me. A restraining order is a joke maybe that’s why many woman stay with thier man. my 2 cents

The sad truth about this whole thing is that it is obvious that there were domestic disputes between them before it escalated to the disturbing last beating. If Rihanna takes Chris back she is sending a terrible message to the world…that this behavior is acceptable which it is not! There is no excuse nor any justifiable reason for the injuries she has sustained at Chris Brown’s hands. The worst reality and according to Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence statistics show that this situation will only get more devastating and may even escalate to a fatal incident. Rihanna has to get out and stay away from her abuser, setting an example for the world, and making a stand for her life. Otherwise she will not only lose her sense of self but become just another statistic in the cycle of domestic violence. Chris should be charged in accordance to the law not his status.

I was wondering if Rihanna was going to be charged as well? Why is it ok for a woman to hit a man? I’m not taking sides but why does everyone forget that she hit him as well and she started the fight. Don’t think that it was ok for him to hit back but why is he the only one getting charged? Shouldnt they both face the same charges? Shouldn’t she take anger management classes? I’m a female by the way.

I can’t believe the number of idiots living here in America! What a bunch of embarrassing losers! It doesn’t matter what color your skin is, it doesn’t matter what your religion is, or what your sexual orientation is, if you commit a crime then you should do the crime! Celebrity or Not! And by the way I realize that some of the idiots are using text-style vocab but on here it makes you look like even bigger idiots then your opinion already does! Hey listen to Oprah! She said right! HE WILL HIT RIHANNA AGAIN!! HE WILL DO IT AGAIN AND HE WILL BE “SORRY” AND PROMISE NEVER TO DO IT AGAIN AND HE WILL “GET HELP” ETC, ETC, AD NAUSEUM!!! It’s the same old BS that these pukes say to get their stupid punching bag to come back to them over and over and over again!!!

I think Chris has learned his lesson and he’s very sorry for what he did. If RiRi wants to be with him then so be it, she is in love with the boy and theres nothing we could do or say to change that. She has slapped him and everything and if she did hit him with a stilleto that sh** hurt like hell. Do all women expect to hit a man and not get hit back?

I FEEL PUTTING YOUR HANDS ON AWOMAN IS
UNCALLED FOR,BUT WE WAS NOT THERE THIS
IS SOMETHING THAT THE TWO WILL HAVE TO WORK OUT .WE CAN ALWAYS SAY I WOULD HAVE NOT PUT UP WITH THIS OR THAT BUT YOU NEVER KNOW TILL YOU HAVE TO WALK IN THOSE SHOES.CHRIS ACTION WAS WRONG BUT IT’S NOT OUR PLACE TO SEND JUDGEMENT IF
RIHANNA HAS TO DO WHAT SHE FILL IS BEST FOR HER IF SHE WANTS CHRIS SO BE IT,WHAT SHE DO IS WHAT COUNTS,SHE’LL HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT.

I think there Chris should be prosecuted and charged…punished for his actions. Yes, the fact remains that millions of women are abused on a daily basis and this is nothing new to the world. But in the same breath, I think Rihanna should take this as a lesson learned and move and on and use the opportunity to empower women around the world who are going through this kind of abuse. Rihanna should move. We’ve all read the police report…next time he might just kill her. Imagine, the one who says he loves you beats you to near death and runs off leaving you to die. If it was a case where he stopped in his tracks when he realized she was losing consciousness and decided to take her to get medical attention, then maybe we could say give the guy a break. But the fact is HE LEFT HER ALONE TO DIE. Guys please, yeah he’s cute and all that but he needs to be punished or he’ll think that he did it once and got away with it so he can do it again. What if this was your mother or daughter or sister, I’m sure your views would be a bit different. RIHANNA GIRL, YOU DESERVE BETTER THAN THAT, LOVE DOESN’T HURT. CLOSE THAT CHAPTER IN YOUR LIFE, BE STRONG AND MOVE ON. YOU HAVE THE POWER TO INFLUENCE MILLIONS OF WOMEN AROUND THE WORLD. USE THIS OPPORTUNITY AND SAVE A LIFE BY SETTING AN EXAMPLE. Belive me, I know that walking away is far from easy but God isn’t going to give you more than you can manage and I’m sure you have the support of your inner circle. As you said, ‘live your life’ not in pain but in happiness. We Caribbean people love you. Just take it one day at a time.

Love Jae

If he(or any other abuser)gets jail time on their FIRST offense, maybe the 2nd time would never happen. Abusers don’t stop abusing….the victim must leave immediately. No special treatmenet please!!

How americans like to judge others, unbelievable. In Europe people would not spend so much time on trash like this, every other woman is abused all the time in your country, and this couple isn’t an exeption at all. Leave them alone, and focus on your economy!!!!!!!

I think America should lay off Chris and Rihanna - because at the end of the day this is really their personal lives - even if they want to give up their careers to prove you guys wrong. They are human and deserve to live their lives not based on public opinion. If Rihanna leaves Chris it will please society not Rihanna and she has to do what her heart desires. She knows Chris she does not know anyone else - and I support both of them 100% - I don’t condone the beatings that Rihanna got but that is her body and if she still wants to be with Chris what is wrong with that - you guys need to focus on how bad the economy is right now and help out a neighbor.

I think that everyone should give Chris a break because thia is the first time that we have heard or shall i say seen that abuse. Everyone makes mistakes and should get a second chance. None of us as the right to judge either one of them. Maybe this situation happen at the heat of the moment and he just lost control. Chris Brown and Rihanna both are humans and they should be with each other as long as they wont. I have seen domestic violence in my home and also has been a domestic violence victim myself. Its not fair that as soon as a person make one mistake then everyone turns their back on the..

I am so pissed off at the stupid people that believe that Brown should get off without a punishment. He is a bastard and deserves to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. What he did deserves a punishment. So what if hes sorry so are murderers sometimes and we obviously arent going to let murders out of jail just because they are sorry, so why should we let Brown get off the hook??? Because he’s a celebrity? I sure as hell dont think so! I hope he spends some time in jail, where all abusers belong!!!
