Melissa asking Jason “I asked Jason, ‘Am I going to be blind-sided by anything? Is there anything you want to tell me?’ And he said, ‘No, gosh no.’ And the second I went out on that stage, he goes, ‘P.S. it is Molly.’ And I went, ‘Bastard!’”

Producer Mike Fleiss says, Q: Jason said repeatedly that he was contractually obligated to break up with Melissa on the air. What was his contract?

A: I think he felt an obligation to the show, but there’s no contractual obligation there. None.

Q: So Jason did not have to break up with Melissa on the show?

A: He definitely had time to tell her before … You can check the contracts. How would you put that into a contract anyway? It’s impossible.

Q: Did Jason ever tell you he didn’t want to dump Melissa on camera?

A: I never heard that.

Jason is a liar and a cheat

As Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss tells PEOPLE, “That’s patently untrue. It was [Jason’s] choice in New Zealand who he proposed to.” But after the show wrapped, Fleiss says, “HE WAS NOT IN LOVE WITH MELISSA ANYMORE and he was in love with Molly and he needed to make a change.”

Jason left us with this kicker: “I had to hurt people in a way, but I feel I did it with integrity.” (Well, the show is all about FANTASIES, right?) Oh, and Jillian — who made it to Jason’s top three — will be the new “Bachelorette” when that show returns to the air in May. OK, I might watch.

Jason so much wanted positive publicity, instead it backfired on him. He really worked it with the Deanna thing to get sympathy. Sorry Charlie, you went about it the wrong way.

well, he’s got Molly and they can go and settle in Seatle and live happily ever after. I hope he doesn’t dump Molly either, she seems like a nice gal too.

I am proud of Melissa, she is resillient and bounced right back, she doesn’[t hold grudges and she believes in moving on regardles of situations where they are good or bad. She is a sensible gal. Go team Melissa, hold your head up high and keeping going. There’s a whole world of opportunities for you, one door had to close so another could open.

I am proud of Melissa

Jason himself called it “Karmic for what he did to Melissa, read below what happned to Jason:

Jason, I slipped and fell and had a huge gash in my leg 3 inches wide and to the bone. I deserve so much worse for what I am doing to you Melissa.” KARMA, KARMA, KARMA

Secondly- for the record- producers have revealed that it was not in his contract to break up with Melissa Rycroft on-air. That was his own jerk move…

it was not in his contract to break up with Melissa

That’s right anonymous, his loss is her gain. Look where she is today, thanks to Jason.

What Jason did in front of 22 million viewers was wrong.

But for Melissa there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am happy for her.

his loss is her gain.

Melissa signed up for the show, so too bad if she is publically dumped. Even the worst publicity is great advertising. Look at her now on dancing with the stars. He did her a favor by dumping her in public

Melissa “waltzed” her way into America’s hearts after being betrayed by bachelor Jason Mesnick on the most shocking and talked about season finale ever of ABC’s The Bachelor. With an outpouring of support and affection from viewers across America, a dignified Melissa has personified the courage to move on. Her journey continues as a participant on season eight of Dancing with the Stars, valiantly stepping in with less than a week to train when two celebrities were forced to withdraw due to injuries. She teams with Tony Dovolani, who returns for his seventh season

The heart wants what the heart wants and if he could not get over Molly he made the right decision. I liked both women and he is the only one who can say how his heart feels. I think he made the right decission and I wish him and Molly all good wishes.

I wanted to say that I thought it very strange that Melissa’s parents did not want to meet Jason. I felt right then and there they knew this relationship would not work out…..perhaps they meet all of Melissa’s boyfriends and sooner or later the guy is gone. So when Jason went with Molly, I was not surprised. Best to find out right away.

Melissa is better off without any association with those two crass idiots.

Molly is a conceted self-centered snot. She could uphold the ‘act’ of hers in front of Jason but I doubt she can maintain it for long in real life. In actuality, both eventually showed their true colours, Molly for the back-biting spoiled brat she is, Jason for the hypocritical attention seeker he is…

Jason and Molly are perfect for each other and likely will make each other blissfully miserable together.

I think in the end he did pick the right girl - you could see that he was in love with Molly and felt it so hard to give her up, I am glad he had the courage to tell Mellisa and I am glad he told her before the show though she made it like she did not know anything - if they are not into you there is nothing to fight for …. I know I went thru it ….let Jason and Molly give themselves a chance…

Jason is a player no doubt about it. I was hoping part 2 would help me ‘see the light’ but he is a very smug man and waswrong to do what he did on national t.v. He could have broken it off before then - he did not have to wait until the cameras were rolling. And then 5 minutes later to ask for Molly back? No wonder Ty is messed up. I actually can’t believe Molly was dumb enough to take him back - hopefully she will come to her senses.

“ROMPER ROOM AND TY AND HIS DADDY” that’s what the show should have been titled. It seemed like the show was centered around TY, geeez, talk about overexposure of the kid. I think Jason overdid it with ty, ty, ty. I think it’s wonderful he is a single dad, however it was oversaturation of his son. I felt Melissa bonded with ty quick, while it took Molly a little bit longer. Melissa was an excellent choice. Molly had to settle for seconds. Molly is not too bright, I would have told him NO. Maybe she is very desperate woman looking for a man, Jason might be the only one she could sink her teeth into. Jason is not a good catch.

I am glad Jason realized his true feelings for Molly. She is down to earth and you can tell she truly loved Jason. Her face lit up. As for Melissa; I think she is very attractive, but to me—too talkative and giddy. People can make mistakes in relationships; Jason just chose to correct the mistake before it went any further.
