Rihanna and Chris: Secret Wedding?

0309rihannabrown.jpg

Rumors have swirled saying controversial couple Chris Brown and Rihanna tied the knot after their alleged altercation -- "Extra" explores the wedding rumors, and what could be next for Brown's case.

A source recently revealed to "Extra" that the couple did in fact say "I do" -- but Los Angeles lawyer Trent Copeland tells "Extra" that even if the musical duo got married, it will not provide Chris with any legal loopholes. "It would not matter if Chris Brown and Rihanna were married before or after the alleged incident," Copeland insists. "No judge would allow him to use their marriage as a shield to prevent her from testifying as a witness."

Brown may not need Rihanna's love to back him in court -- according to TMZ, a plea deal for Chris may already be in the works. The "Forever" singer reportedly wants no jail time -- and he will reportedly only cop to a misdemeanor charge.

Ani Esmailian from Hollyscoop.com reveals to "Extra" that the couple has been violent with each other before. "It isn't the first time Chris Brown has fought back and that's according to Rihanna's statement," Ani explains. "According to a source familiar with the case, there was actually an altercation three months ago when the couple was in Europe and it resulted in Rihanna slapping Chris Brown and him having to put her up against the wall to calm her down."

Brown is due back in court on April 6 for his arraignment.

Do you think Chris Brown should get a plea deal? Vote now.

She could do so much better than Chris Brown. Her going back to him is the END of her sponsorship deals.

the saddest part is she could have gone in a great direction for her career and that would have been to never speak to chris again but instead she will forever be remembered as the dumb rising star that ruined her life by staying with a guy who beats women. one time is all it takes to qualify. it doesn’t matter what she did!

She no doubt will be the next Whitney Houston to go down over a woman beater. To bad God gives these people good looks and talent only to have them thro it away. She’s young, she should play the field before setteling down. Marge

I hate that Rihanna is back with Chris and I will not buy anything that has anything to do with her!! From someone that has dated an abuser, I can tell you that they will promise you the world for you to return to them but they never, ever, ever change. She is a very bad role model to all of her young female fans and we should all boycott her until she wises up and leaves Chris and helps the prosecutor! What is wrong with this woman!! And can’t her friends and family get through to her? You don’t stay with a man who tries to kill you, no excuses!

All of this is really none of our business. Just like it wouldn’t be my business if any of you actually got into an “altercation” with your significant others or vice versa. Let them work it out in their own time and ways. You can give advice till you’re blue in the face but people will always make up their own minds. :)

Blah blah blah let them deal with it…whatever happenz happenz. If chris goes to jail so be it, if rihanna goes back to him who cares they aren’t little kiddies people. They face the consequences and learn from it. Also It takes two to tango…..I sure aint gonna dismiss tha fact that rihanna was abusing chris before he finaly popped, she aint all that innocent and i dont feel sory for neither of them…but give chris abit of a break dayem. So bludy dramatic lol

We need to remember that people do make mistakes and it is her decision if she wants to reconcile with Chris. This is a personal issue between the two of them and not the entire world. I understand they are famous, but she is a real person to and needs her privacy in a time like this. I just hope Chris realizes what a great person he has.

I grew up with domestic violence. My father always hit my mother, and me and my two sisters. Years ago they never did anything about. I hope that Rianna should not go back to him, once a hitter will always be a hitter. she should get help now before she decides to go back to him.You just don’t know it feels.

No one has the right to pass judgment on either Chris or Rihanna. No one knows
any particulars about them and how they feel about each other. Whatever they decide on they will live with it. ITS YOUR THANG DO WHAT CHA WANNA DO, THEY CAN’T TELL YOU WHO TO GIVE THAT THANG TO!!!!!

I don’t buy that Rihanna hitting Chris thing one bit. That Scum bag should be banned from the Kids Choice Awards. Shame on Nick for even allowing Chris Brown to still be noninated for an Award. By doing that Their telling kids that its ok to hit your girlfriend or wife. That its ok to disrespect women.
Nickelodeon. Have you lost your damn Mind !!!!!!!!

I really think he should plead guilty, as a man would. As Oprah said “He will do it again” I believe this ,absolutely………………….

i think rihanna is CRAZY if she marries chris!! HE WILL HIT HER AGAIN!! i would never trust him EVER again. Rihanna has made a miraculous recovery and she is a major role model and i dont want it to happen to her agian. She needs to stay that great role model
