Remembering Natasha

Natasha Richardson was an accomplished actress, loving wife and mother, and a tireless AIDS activist -- now "Extra" takes a look at the life of the star who touched the lives of her colleagues in Hollywood -- and people around the world.

Dear Liam: My heart truly goes out to you at this time of such great sorrow for you and your family. Your wife was a wonderufl woman. She was truly talented, as are you. I shall pray for her. This will be easier to bear with time. I learned this when my father died.
I’ve truly admired you and your work for many years now. For me, you are one of the great character actors of all time. I truly admire your talent and you. Again, all my sympathy. Patty

My heart goes out to the entire family. Natasha was one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. I loved her so much in the Parent Trap. There are no words that can really express the loss of this wonderful, loving lady.

When she reported a headache and had altered conscious one hour after the incident, that was a medical emergency and she should have been treated in Canada so there was no delay. To the extent there was an unnecessary delay in her getting emergency treatment, including surgery, there will be liability and a lawsuit. This was potentially curable or treatable.

Condolences to the family and the movie world.

It is tragic, heartbreaking. We have lost a great person. What really makes me mad is why after the tragic death of an actor or actress they always have to say “Could they have been saved” Why? Why do that. That is not what anybody wants to hear. It’s hard enough for the family to except the loss, don’t go throwing that into their faces. My heart goes out to the family Of Natasha Richardson, may her light continue to shine!

She seem to be the type of person you would want as a good friend

Loved Natasha in the Parent Trap, a great loss.

We need to pray that God’s comfort is with the family

This brings me back to the loss of Princess Diana. Natasha Richardson was an elegant, kind, and loving woman. Her life is a testament to the person that she was and will always be. My heart goes out to her beautiful boys, her loving husband, her amazing mum, and all the wonderful family and friends that have prematurely lost this beautiful example of what all women should aspire to be. There is good and bad in everything, but right now I can’t imagine the good that will come of this loss.
