"Bachelor" dumpee turned "Dancing" phenomenon Melissa Rycroft knows she can count on new beau Ty Strickland.

The former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader was spotted running errands with her man in L.A. shortly after making an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

On the show, Melissa revealed how she and Ty reunited after the "Bachelor" mess, saying, "I've known him for about two or two-and-a-half years now," adding, "when everything kind of went south with Jason and the 'Bachelor' stuff -- he was there to pick up my pieces."

Don't miss it as Melissa struts her stuff on the floor when "Dancing with the Stars" airs tonight on ABC.

To Mr. Fleiss of Bachelor — Jason may have changed his mind, most of the “bachelor couples” have. What was totally unacceptable was to have Jason break it off in front of the cameras —-just for possible ratings. You have lost a viewer; I’m sure that I am not the only one.

As Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss tells PEOPLE, “That’s patently untrue. It was [Jason’s] choice in New Zealand who he proposed to.” But after the show wrapped, Fleiss says, “HE WAS NOT IN LOVE WITH MELISSA ANYMORE and he was in love with Molly and he needed to make a change.”
