Lifechangers: Cooking Tumors

"Extra" Lifechanger (and renegade) Dr. Peter Julien is championing Radiofrequency Ablation -- a radical cancer treatment that literally cooks a tumor with a scalding needle.

A radical cancer treatment that literally cooks a tumor with a scalding needle.

Watch Dr. Julien explain the procedure here.

Dear Doctor Julien
I Have a friend with cancer of small Intestines he has had Chemo and Radiation. the tumor is wrapped around the main artery in the spine area can your type of treatment help? The chemo and radiation shrunk the tumor in one area but the cancer has also spread in another. To my knowledge no major organs except the small intestines are involved. He has been told surgery is out. He had to have 6 inches of his bowel removed yesterday.

Dear Dr Julien:

My Mother in law has a cannon ball sized tumor ( adenocarcnoma) that is invadeing her right lung and is wrpped around her main pulminary artery.

SHe had a PET scan and the good news is it is only there and has not spread but she is not a good candidate for surgery so she has just started chemo and radiation.
We saw your information on the PM of her first chemo treatment.
I would be interested in bringing her to LA to see you now while she is still otherwise ( for 68 yrs old) very heatlhy and strong. Your procedure sounds like the first line of defense, not the final…
and she is in South Florida where such a treatment is not available.
Could we schedule and apt? How does this work with insurance? ( She has full coverage through her work)…
Thawnkyou for your outreach and your proactive approach!! We are very grateful to your teaching us all about this technique

Dr. Julien,

I have a very good friend who is in need of your services. The unfortunate fact is that she resides in NY and you are in LA. She has a cancer called sarcoma and at this time no more treatment can be administered as chemo since her body cannot handle it. Her cancer is a tumor in her abdomen and has already spread to her lungs and other nearby organs in a limited state. They drain fluid from her abdomen every two weeks that causes her severe pain. She is becoming more frail by the day and without appetite. Her time is limited as I see it. Can you recommend anyone else in the New City area that can accomplish what you do. Your method seems to be a viable solution for a patient that cannot have any more chemo. Ever grateful. John Riccioli

Dr. Julian, my mother was dignosed w/ pancreatic cancer over 2 yrs ago. She was operated on and that part of the pancreas (very small in the tail)was removed. The cancer has now spread to her liver. She has recieved some chemo but the drug she recieved was only allowed to be administered for a short period of time. Her cancer marker dropped a lot from it. now there doesnt seem to be anything for her. She feels great is very healthy and strong. Could you PLEASE consider her for this treatment? We would be willing to travel anywhere to help her.

Hello Dr. Julian, I am very interested in knowing how to contact people who work with this new procedure, my mother has had hepatitis C for a long time, Dr’s in the U.S.A. never made her aware about curing it, so know they say it is too late for curing it with chemotherapy. She has Cirrhosis. I hope we could do some thing better for her. Please let me know.
sincerely, Jaime from S.L.C.
