Crowd Gathers at Expected Site of Richardson Funeral

Reporters, photographers, and onlookers have begun to gather at the church where Natasha Richardson is expected to be laid to rest this afternoon.

According to the Poughkeepsie Journal, police are bracing for traffic congestion from the media and onlookers. The officers are also bracing for possible protesters from Westboro Baptist Church in Kansas, who announced they would picket at Richardson's funeral because of her tireless devotion to finding a cure for AIDS.

The private funeral service is scheduled for 2 PM EDT at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Lithgow, where Natasha lived with her husband Liam Neeson and their two sons. The actress died on Wednesday of brain injuries following a freak skiing accident in Quebec, Canada.

I loved Natasha so much she was the sweetest mom in the Parent Trap just as sweet as my mom. I am surely going to miss her. I can just imagine how the boys are saddened. I will be praying for all of you. With all my love.

Dear Liam and family,

My deepest sympathies and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Even though I did not know her personally, I do know Natasha seemed to be a wonderful woman who had such a kind, loving heart. She must’ve made a wonderful wife and mother. And God had his reason and an agenda for having her brought to Heaven at this time, please remember that. And please know that her love will always be with you, that will never change. My thoughts and deepest prayers are with you all.

Kindest Regards

There is a saying that the eyes are the windows to the soul. You knew when you looked at her eyes how good Natasha was. God takes only the best.

To Liam Neeson and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Who are we to Judge, we are but here for a time only. We were not put her to Judge the deeds of other but to help and protect those who need it. How can we as human beings ask questions about what religious she was and what chuch did what and mentioning these things that are not in question. We all do what we want with our loved ones when the Lord calls them. Who are we to JUDGE, and why are there blames, no matter what, when the LORD needs you, he will come and take you. Let the family heal their wounds instead of making matters worse. Pray for her and her family is what we all need to do, instead of blamming and asking questions that are necessary and ridiculous. God Bless her husband and children and may the Lord look upon them and give them strengh in this time of grief.

We are like from the outside looking in and the only reason we know these celebrities is because they come into our living room through our TV’s, they are like a fairy tale because in an eerie way they are part of our lives and we know them and about them because they are Celebrities. So yes they are known and we see everything that happens to them because they are famous. Their lives are always splattered all over the news and of course we all want learn everything about the Celebrity Life. Yes the death of a loved one is so intense it hit right in the heart, something that cannot and will not go aways from one day to another. May God Bless u and ur family she was a beautiful lady and her husband as well, wonderful actor. Her presence will be missed imensely not just on TV but her family as well. May the Lord see upon her family and help them find peace.

Dear Liam,We didn’t know your Lady except in picture shows..She was a class
of Lady we felt that we could know..Life
plays many tricks on us with outcomes so
uncertain..Especially in the final act when life draws its final curtain..No
words or..if onlys..can undo the setting
sun..No bargains with our Maker..can re-
verse what fate has done..Memories are a
different story..for they’re ours to hold forever..Till we meet the ones we
love in the land of Never..Never want,
Never need,Never cry a tear..Never hurt,
Never miss,Never have a fear..So till
you & Natasha are forever one again..
Hold her memories & her love till the
very end..Live your life with your boys
& loving family..The way she would have
lived her life if she were here to be.
And may your heart be untroubled when your yearning grows so strong..May you
hear the Angel Choir in their peaceful
song..I wish for you that each day opens
with a smiling song..That a rainbow
follows every rain..That your days are
filled with BlueBirds of Happiness..And
God’s Love always shuts out your pain..
Love, Janina Jayme FairyGodMother

GOD IS THE ONLY ONE THAT KNOWS OUR HOUR OF BIRTH AND OUR HOUR OF DEATH.

I AM NOT A BIBLE THUMPER HOWEVER I DO KNOW SOMETHINGS IN THE BIBLE.

GOD CALLED NATASHA HOME TO HEAVEN.

COULD OF, SHOULD HAVE DOESN’T CUT THE MUSTARD WITH ME.

TRYING TO BLAME PEOPLE, PLACES OR THINGS IS NOT GOING TO BRING THAT PRECIOUS NATASHA BACK.

MAY YOU REST IN PEACE NATASHA, AND YOU DID TO SOME WONDERFUL THINGS IN THIS WORLD. GOD KNOWS YOU DID ALOT OF GOOD DEEDS. YOU A RARITY OF A PERSON.

GOD IS THE ONLY ONE THAT KNOWS OUR HOUR OF BIRTH AND OUR HOUR OF DEATH.

Katie, I think the church here has been misreported, almost sure it was at St.J’s roman catholic church. Karen it’s abosolutely dispicable what you said, beyond cruel. Socialized medicine did not kill her, REMEMBER the first ambulance was sent away. You sick sick woman. A young woman dies in such a tragic manner and SOCIALIZED MED. is what you think of.

Why was she buried in an Episcopal church if she was Catholic

Katie
March 22, 2009

Ironic how the very same socialized medicine that liberal elitists like Richardson believed in is what actually killed her. The helicopter took 6-8 hours to get her to a hostpital in Canada that was equipped to deal with her type of injury-the town she was in had NO emergency airlift to get her quickly to help. Pathetic. Canadians should be ashamed of their country and the abysmal state of their medical care!!!

These religious folks and their ridiculous views! How highly disrespectful to ‘GOD’ and the grieving family members. Yes, Natasha should be commended, not condemned by some church members for her efforts to be a valid human being. My heart goes out to Liam and his boys, as well as the rest of the family for this untimely and enormous loss.
