Rihanna did tell the cops in her statement that CB had been abusive before and the violence was getting worse.

They both have problems: CB for being an abuser and Rihanna for taking the beatings. They both need professional help.

This probably isn’t the first time he hit her, it’s just the first time he got caught. Like many young girls, they view agression as an act of affection in some demented way. The fact that she would even speak to him again after being abused indicated that she is probably still hoping that it will all work out on some level.

Now she wants a public apology on Oprah’s show? Why, another chance to be in the same room with him? What possible difference could a public apology make? Rihanna, either leave him alone completely, or prepare yourself for a life of abuse with him. He won’t change. @Lucille Chris is NOT OJ!! OJ was a grown a@@ man beating on Nicole for years and her family knew about it but wanted his money so THEY looked the other way not her friends. OJ never got help/counseling unlike Chris. Everybodys story is NOT the same. Let Chris do what he needs to do so he can redeem himself and move on with his life and career.
