This is ridiculous! Summit could set themselves up for life if this series is succesful, but Drew Barrymore as director….give me a break!!! Her first movie directing isn’t even out yet, and I’m sure she didn’t use special effects, at least not to the extent that will be needed for Eclipse. Summit could very well ostracize the fanbase that made Twilight so successful if they put Drew in the director seat. I’m hoping this is a HORRIBLE rumor.

OMG…..I love the books, but I want them to stick with one good director..I might not want Chris to do it I just want to see how New Moon comes out… Twilight was horrible it was so disapointing it wasn’t like the book at all. It could have been ten times better.

What the heck has Drew Barrymore done to deserve this? The movies’ may not be critically acclaimed but they’re paying some bills I’m sure. You should be giving the series to some of the best. How do you expect to get a continuity between the films if you keep switching directors?
