Will and Jada Reach Out to Chris and Rihanna

215.jpg

At the NAACP Image Awards on Thursday night, Will Smith told "Extra" that he and his wife are supporting Chris Brown and Rihanna. "Jada and I reached out to both of them," Will said. "If it's help they need, then let's get it right."

Speaking out about the alleged attack involving Brown and Rihanna, Smith commented, "This is a time where they need to be left alone and if they have things they need to work out, work it out."

Smith urged the public to stop speculating about the incident saying, "People should take a minute before they jump on it and judge. We don't know nothing. If there are mistakes people make, then they should be willing to live up to the mistakes and do whatever penance they need to do. I don't think it's up to us, specifically the media, with such a fast hand to try to chop someone's head off."

For Bro Chloe

The next time you try to back up your nonsense with non facts, make sure you actually read a full article!

Just google the following: Quarter of U.S. women suffer domestic violence: CDC

I agree that violence of any kind from any gender is wrong. HOWEVER…I wasn’t “hiding behind my vagina” when my boyfriend through me up against the wall and choked me until I spit blood because I wouldn’t do what he wanted. She may be violent, I do not know her…he may be violent, I do not know him…but what is reported is his beating of her and her bruises. He had none from the pictures shown, she supposedly suffered bruises, possibly a broken jaw and bite marks…so in this instance, if that is true, no one, no matter if she’s got sharp tongue or not, NO PERSON DESERVES THAT

OH I’m sorry Bro Chloe

Pardon that you feel intimidated enough to even MENTION my IQ and therefore must feel inferior and insecure!

Going back from the timeline of the women’s movement, women have been treated poorly for years which includes abuse. Where the heck do you think I was being a hypocrite??? Please point that out!

If a woman beats the crap out of a man her @ss needs to be locked up!! Period abuse is NEVER OK! But going back MANY MANY MANY years! Including countries OUTSIDE of the USA women have been and continue to be abused like this and its not ok.

By the way my indignance was VERY authentic.

For your info. I actually do social work and have helped many a battered woman and few men too. One reason why this situation inflamed me so much!

So do a favor to yourself and others Bro Chloe and keep your mouth shut.

R. Kelly molests & urinates on underage girl— ‘she must’ve deserved it, she was fast’

Church minister rapes women of his congregation— Deion Sander & TD Jakes comes out in DEFENSE OF THE MINISTER, ‘the women shouldn’t report this because this guy is a friend’!!!WTF!!??

Chris Brown beats up Rihanna— ‘she hit him first… we don’t know all the facts’

————————-

Black male gets assaulted by police— NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!! Facts & details be damned; criminal history be damned… not acceptable; time for a march!!
Black woman gets assaulted/raped/abused by Black male— what did SHE do to bring this upon herself?!

WHY ISN’T THE MEDIA DISCUSSING THE FACT THAT RIHANNA HAS A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE? SHE SAID HERSELF THAT SHE ATTACKED HER OWN BROTHER AND HIT HIM IN THE HEAD WITH A BOTTLE? I AM A WOMAN, A GROWN HAPPILY MARRIED WOMAN…NOT A TEENAGED CHRIS BROWN FAN…BUT THIS STORY IS VERY ONE-SIDED. I HAVE A DAUGHTER AND I PLAN TO TEACH HER THAT ABUSE GOES BOTH WAYS. PLUS, I FIND IT ODD THAT HE WOULD JUST DECIDE TO BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF HER AND SHE SUPPOSEDLY CAUGHT IM CHEATING??? IT SEEMS SHE WOULD BE THE ANGRY ONE…USE SOME COMMON SENSE FOLKS!

Most people who are choosing sides are hypocrites! Have we ever stopped playing R-KELLYS music? There are tons stars who have been arrested for DUI’S, rappers boast about doing/selling drugs and we CELEBRATE THAT ISH!!!! IM done!

^^^ Spare those of us with IQs in the triple digits your phony indignation.

If you really care that much log off and head to the nearest battered woman’s shelter to volunteer.

Women commit more acts of domestic violence (see CDC report of 2007-2008 on domestic violence) in America so it is really MEN who have dealt with this for years. W Women just get all the sympathy because they are able to hide behind their vagina and spew sob-stories.

So unless you feel the same about woman on male violence you need to work on not being a hypocrite and shut up.

I love Will and Jada and think they are trying to be neutral about it but…it’s abuse!

What facts we know FOR SURE are:

1. Chris Brown was arrested for assault.

2. Rihanna was the the victim of said assault.

Those two facts mean HE needs help and SHE needs to move on away from this. Not get relationship counseling. THEY WEREN’T MARRIED and have no children. He was a damn BOYFRIEND!?!?!Women have suffered this crap for years and it really baffles me when WOMEN/GIRLS themselves say he must have been PROVOKED to do this!?!?!? WTF?? It’s like these chicks have Stockholm’s syndrome about abuse!

NEVER! ABUSE IS NEVER EVER EVER PHUCKIN OK on ANY LEVEL.

This kids career is toast. His image was based on being clean cut…there is no coming back from this for him. And I really used to like the kid.

WOMEN WAKE THE PHUCK UP! ABUSE=NEVER OK!

what chris did was very bad..no excuses here but I do think Rihanna is a nasty piece of work. i really dont like her at all…she really knows how to sweeten ppl up…a true sweet poison. I had a situation where my ex-wife was so horiible that she tried to wind me up so much…luckily I dealt with it in the best posible way by not responding to it…chris has to learn the hard way coz i dont think hes a bad guy but he has fell into a stupid trap thats now look so bad for him and a lot of sympathy for Rihanna…but I think Rihannas tru colours will come out soon

It would seem by this article that misogynistic behavior is accepted and supported by the leaders in certain cultures. Too bad.

Listen America: celebrity or not, black woman are NOT being respected, especially by Black Men.

Regardless of the circumstances or who provoked the attack/assault- there is no reason or excuse for Chris Brown or any other man to beat a woman down. Will Smith and everyone posting comments is dead wrong- if they think you got to sort it out first. Nothing to sort out. she could have called him names or even cheated, but thats no reason to criminally assault the woman. Be a man and get out of the car Mr. Brown. Her injuries are All we need to be discussing. No reason to Ever put hands on a woman and kick her a…

She was assaulted… that is all that needs to be known… that is NOT acceptabe regardless of the surrounding circumstances.

The next time a Jena 6 happens, lets all sort out the facts before we as a Black community support them in droves— didn’t those guys have rap sheets already… maybe they brought it on themselves…. Black women get no love.

It’s about time someone start talking like an adult. There are always more than one side to every story. If you’re not trying to help, then shut up. AND SAYING THAT CB IS A WALKING DEAD MAN DOESN’T HELP THE SITUATION.

Why do the two Scientologists (Will and Jada) need to get involved, except to get some extra media publicity?

I DO AGREE…PEOPLE NEED TO BACK OFF THEM FOR A MINUTE AND GET THINGS RIGHT…LIFE IS JUST TOO SHORT FOR ALL THIS MESS.

PEOPLE MAKE MISTAKES.
AND I SUPPORT CHRIS BROWN TO THE FULLEST. WE DON’T KNOW THE FULL STORY SO STOP MAKING IT SEEM LIKE IT’S ALL ON CHRIS

Thank you!! Finally someone said it! Lets not jump to conclusions. Lets allow the authorities to figure things out and hold people accountable.
If its all true… its horrible and sad for both people and they need to get some things straight before moving on with other people or each other.
