Will and Jada Reach Out to Chris and Rihanna

215.jpg

At the NAACP Image Awards on Thursday night, Will Smith told "Extra" that he and his wife are supporting Chris Brown and Rihanna. "Jada and I reached out to both of them," Will said. "If it's help they need, then let's get it right."

Speaking out about the alleged attack involving Brown and Rihanna, Smith commented, "This is a time where they need to be left alone and if they have things they need to work out, work it out."

Smith urged the public to stop speculating about the incident saying, "People should take a minute before they jump on it and judge. We don't know nothing. If there are mistakes people make, then they should be willing to live up to the mistakes and do whatever penance they need to do. I don't think it's up to us, specifically the media, with such a fast hand to try to chop someone's head off."

It really bothers me that EVERYONE is so quick to jump the gun, not even knowing the truth. I feel the last comment but only if that is true. What if “she hit him first” will you guys have the same to say about her. You people need to stop with all the criticism!!! Only speak on what you KNOW and not what you think…..

The media is being what it always has been, provocative, etc. I don’t need to know the details of what and why. I’m concerned only the damage done to a young woman and how this young man can redeem such a heinous act. ‘My dad hit my mom’ is an excuse and he is responsible for his own actions. He needs to think of a way to diffuse and express his anger for his own good. Ike Turner never did well after his abuse was exposed. Everybody has spats now and then, but they don’t send you to the hospital with unspeakable injuries.

When cute little Willow gets her a** kicked by her boyfriend at 16, let’s see how long Will & Jada sit around trying to work “work things out” with the boyfriend.

I’m with Will and Jad on this one and am glad someone has reached out to both of them rather than taking sides. This whole thing, including the media coverage, has to be traumatic for such young people. My prayers are with both of them and to be perfectly honest, if they get some counselling I wouldn’t hold it against them if they wanted to stay together.

Are the Smiths really helping the situation by keepign thier mouth shut and letting them work things out on their own. How do we know that if they work things out that there will be safety for them. Will they ever have a truly secure love after this? NO! will rihanna ever be able to trust chris with her life? NO! there can’t be lovewithout trust. Somethign needs to happen so we can get answers. If Chris really did that than there needs to be some consequrnces!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to add my two cents to this… Were not there. We did not see … If some one wants to get help so as not to prepetuate being an abusive person ( male or Female ) Then we should be glad that some one is willing to change and stop all the violence. I am not in any way condoaning what took place that night. It is sad and tragic for both parties involved. We need to stop the shark like attacks on one another and wait to see what all comes out WHEN it is ready and given by thones handling the case, Not the ” SOURCES” close to the case or the couple or the star… These aren’t reliable sources or even valid in my opinion. To the term SOURCE is very Enquirer, so full of B.S. that it can’t be taken seriously. In instances like this there are long lasting remifications and they both will have to deal with them. She may have issues for a very long time and she will need to get in support groups and theripy from all of this. He will need to be in an anger management programand get theripy and do what ever is asked of him to to so that they both can go on with their lives. Lets stop all the spectulation and just let them do what they need to do. Every thing else is just made up gossip that is being circulated just to get people fired up[ at these two people. And I do recall people practically ralling around R. Kelley threw his court case… And they didnt cut his stupid music from air play not even once. And none of the artists dropped association with him either. Cierra has a song with him on the track… And she is a young woman! Why did people seem to want to excuse a childmolesting pervert. Is that crime any less severe??
Those scars never ever go away!!! Stop hating on either party and on one another. We are all entitled to our opinions and if some one doesnt like that opinion… IGNORE it… thats being Adult. And to all those squeeling little girls that have said they wouldn’t mind if Chris smacked them around… That is the most stupid self loathing thing I have ever heard. No woman, young girl should ever want to be in those shoes. And being Jealous of a Pop-star’s relationship is just silly. Because there is a billion in one chance you would ever meet that star… and an even slimmer chance you would be the sweety hanging on his arm… Some of you sound like stalkers… BTW thats against Cali. Laws too…

Women who have gone through domestic abuse know that there’s no such thing as I’ll never do it again! Rihanna needs to know that this is not an act of love or caring. There is absolutely ‘No Excuse” for what he did, even if he was provoked.

Worst of all, he battered her face so brutally. I was taken by how vicious the beating was.

Next time, if there is one, she may not be so lucky and have someone call for help. People tend to ignore these incidents and stay out of it.

He may need treatment but he’s still a loser. I can’t support him after this.

What’s to work out Will? Would you say that if it was your daughter?

I cried because it made me so angry.

To Michael:

You are SO right and it is a breath of fresh air to see that the real man is alive and kicking. I see you stumbled at one point in your youth on the subject but its good to hear your philosophy which is SO SO true.

And I am NOT surprised to see ignorance in the poster who wants you to prove your point…obviously not yet a man. Immaturity makes you miss a lot of things. Men and women should not beat up on each other period.

BUT because by percentages men seem do it more, a man but nature alone (unless you have a CHYNA (wrestler) Verne Troyer pairing) will always be stronger than a woman and will easily over power her.

Chris Brown is over

I dont think that this whole situation was related to an std, thats stupid, and even if it was, this fool didn’t have any right to put his hands on her. He should have taken off like a gentlemen rather than rush her like a punk!

Men need to have it in their system that in a situation where a woman is disrespecting or grating on you: Just leave the situation.

Pack your stuff, and suddenly pull the plug on that woman. This is more effective.

The minute a man hits a woman, he loses. This is how I learnt it… they don’t teach this to youths anymore? He loses because he is already most likely able to beat her that: what’s the point? When things are so off-balance it’s pointless. It’s liike me going one-on-one with Kobe. Pointless.

So men, keep your respect and ego intact… Just bounce. You would have never been happy with her anyway. Abuse should NOT be a PART of a relationship. Find someone else for a relationship.

Be a man… when things get too heated, just leave the scene. Go play some Halo, bball, soccer, run, work out or some sh#t. Just get away from the situation and her voice.

Real men don’t just lose it and hit women. Don’t act like a boy, be a man!

Did you just seriously just say this?

“NO one looses self control just because. There is always a breaking point…statue of limitation.”

What’s your statute of limitations? that doesn’t even make sense within the context of the situation….everyone has a statute of limitaion? HAHAHAHA NICE!!!!!!!

Do we not have more important things to think about? Sure it is a case of abuse and that happens thousands of times a day in America and the courts will deal with it. Just because this idiot is a famous 19 year old singer it gets the top of media reports. If you want to do something about it stop buying his music and some day soon maybe he will be asking if you “want fries with that”?

Ok for all of the “hear both sides of the story” people, we KNOW that she was assaulted, there are pictures of her injuries, and Chris Brown turned himself in for it. SO that much info. let’s you come to atleast one conclusion…He shouldn’t have done it.

Also if Rihanna was the one pushing his buttons, he could have dropped her off and split or called the cops on her if she was beating on him.

What we don’t know for sure but have heard is that she had previous injuries which may have been from him hitting her before.

Spare me the whole don’t judge garbage…we ALL judge even the people who claim NOT to. And if Will were to hit Jada she would go off! Let’s be real here!!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! HOW ABOUT A ROUND OF APPLAUSE…STANDING OVATION IF YOU WOULD!!! For WILL AND JADA! LEAVE THESE KIDS ALONE.

In Defense of Chris and Rihanna….

Where THE HELL WAS EVERYBODY when ALL THIS “abuse” WAS GOING ON PRIOR TO THE ALLEGATIONS Saturday night.

Rihanna and no woman NEVER deserve to be man handled, however do hear both sides find out why this happened.

NO one looses self control just because. There is always a breaking point…statue of limitation. They both had one and it possibly could have been intercepted had some mentored them accordingly
