NAACP Image Awards Red Carpet, Raw
Academy Award winner Halle Berry and writer/actor Tyler Perry are hosting the 40th NAACP Image Awards tonight at the Shrine Auditorium in L.A., and "Extra" has raw footagee from the event.
The NAACP Image Awards celebrates the outstanding achievements and performances of people of color in film, TV, music and literature. The awards also honor individuals or groups who promote social justice through their creative endeavors.

It was a beautiful show. The NAACP Image awards is about all people of color. If you had watched the program you would have known that an Image award was given out to a White Man, an Asian Man. People all this bickering about color is keeping racism alive. We are bigger than that. There are more important things going on in our country now, for example our state of economy. Anyway, just look at Halle Berry, she is of mixed heritage even though she is referred to as Black. Did Halle not look too gorgeous? She lit up the screen. Although I do miss her short locks.
