VOTE: Octuplets Mom -- Right or Wrong?

It's the story everyone is talking about, and now the Octuplets Mom is talking! After death threats and a media backlash, Nadya Suleman sat down with Ann Curry for her first television interview since giving birth to eight babies last month.

The 33-year-old single mom conceived the octuplets (and her other six children) through in vitro fertilization. She told Curry she used the same donor for all of her kids -- and he's a friend.

Suleman says she was lonely growing up as an only child and always wanted a large family. Even though the California native is unmarried and unemployed, she says, "I know I will be able to afford them after my schooling." Suleman hopes for a career in counseling.

"Extra" wants to know --

Tune in to "Today" on Monday, February 9 for the full interview with Suleman and the first look at the octuplets.

What do you think? Discuss this in our "Extra" community!

“What a Wonderful World”

by Louis Armstrong singer:

I see trees of green…….. red roses too
I see em bloom….. for me and for you
And I think to myself…. what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue….. clouds of white
Bright blessed days….dark sacred nights
And I think to myself …..what a wonderful world.

The colors of a rainbow…..so pretty ..in the sky
Are also on the faces…..of people ..going by
I see friends shaking hands…..sayin.. how do you do
Theyre really sayin……i love you.

I hear babies cry…… I watch them grow
Theyll learn much more…..than Ill never know
And I think to myself …..what a wonderful world

(instrumental break)

The colors of a rainbow…..so pretty ..in the sky
Are there on the faces…..of people ..going by
I see friends shaking hands…..sayin.. how do you do

She is a poor excuse for a woman. What kind of example is she setting for her young children especially the girls? She had 6 children at home that she could not support and decided she would have 8 more. She is seriously dumebr than a box of rocks. I CAN NOT stand this women. She needs to have her tubes tied or something.

the O C T O mom, Nadya Suleman, is the truest proof of life being UNFAIR. For people who work just to get by. paycheck to paycheck. And i can’t afford to buy a $$$ 15,000.oo house. Yet alone a $500,000 + disgusted with it allllll house.

Nadya Suleman is a fool!!! How can she possibly take care of octuplets, when she can’t even afford to take care of the six she already has? And the fact that some of the six are autistic? They need special care. Care, Suleman can’t provide.I think that all Suleman’s children should be taken away from her and be put up for adoption into familiesd that are financially stable and will give all the kids the care they need. And why should she get special money from charities and the state, when people who are losing their jobs, don’t get anyrthing at all? What makes Suleman special?

This woman just makes me absolutely livid. She has truly been scamming the American public and these people who are donating money are truly fools. Is this nation so dumbed down that they are willing to be fooled into giving her money and watch and read everything about her, just remember when you watch shows that have her on as a guest like (Oprah) you are making these people rich by tuning in and watching. It seems like she is getting more media time than any of the truly sad stories that are really happening to people in this country. While our country is going down the toilet and people are losing their jobs (through no fault of their own) and in return losing their homes and ending up in tent cities and I don’t see the American public helping any of these people. This woman is not only getting a half million dollar home while collecting welfare. She can afford the implant of all these embryos, she can afford plastic surgery and she can afford to get her French manicures

“People what fools you are, you will help this woman gain notoriety while you let the people who have worked hard all their lives lose everything, Shame on America!”

Hey Silvia Valles, read the comment below yours. Why should Nayda give up all her children. She is moving to a bigger house and is going to get help to watch the infants.

Foster homes is not the solution, everybody wants Nayda to give up her children. Would you want your kids taken away from you.

Sometimes, children don’t get treated right in foster homes. Some foster homes are good and some are bad.

I am happy she has a new home and nurses to help her out. There is kind hearted people that want to help Nayda.

The children are innocent and they should all stay with their mom, Nayda.

I think since she can’t take care of all her kids that where born …they should go to people who can afford and can’t have kids ….think about it for how long do u think people are gonna help her ….I feel for her mom the (grandmother) she should be enjoying her life with her grandchildren not raising her daughter kids over and over again

Nadya Suleman with one of her babies

As they grow stronger in the hospital, Nadya Suleman’s octuplets are getting closer to coming home to a larger, recently purchased house – where it looks like they’ll have a free fleet of skilled nurses.

The Suleman family is buying a house in Orange County, Calif., that’s nearly twice as large as the one where Nadya, 33, the mother of the U.S.’s longest-surviving octuplets, lives with her six older children in Whittier.

“She’s excited,” Suleman’s mother, Angela, tells PEOPLE. “This is an old house and this new one will have a lot more space.”

The 2,583-foot four-bedroom, three-bathroom house in La Habra is “a good house for kids,” with a huge yard, Mike Patel of Prudential Realty tells PEOPLE. “It’s a good house for a big family and there is room to add on more rooms.”

The house, listed at $564,900, has a short escrow that should close later this week, Patel says. He adds he represents the owner, who didn’t know the Suleman family before the deal came together. “They just happened to like this house,” Patel says. The official buyer is Nadya’s father, Ed Doud.

Nursing Services
To care for the new arrivals, Suleman has accepted the invitation of Angels in Waiting, a nonprofit that will provide around-the-clock nurses once the babies are brought home over the next few weeks, according to Dr. Phil McGraw, who helped arranged the deal along with attorney Gloria Allred.

“Nadya realized that she had to make every effort to care for the octuplets as well as the six children at home in a way that proved that she understood the enormity and complexity of the task ahead,” says McGraw, whose show will address the matter Tuesday and Wednesday.

The neonatal intensive care nurses specialize in premature infant developmental care, says Linda Conforti West, CEO and founder of Angels in Waiting. The agency would have 14 nurses a day, four to five at a time, working around the clock, representatives recently told PEOPLE. Normally, they say, that kind of care would cost about $135,000 a month. The nurses’ salaries are paid by the organization.

Anger at Home
The arrangement comes amid pressures at home. At least some of Suleman’s other children are angry over the impending arrival of the octuplets, Suleman tells The Insider.

“[They’re] externalizing their anger. Internalizing it. They become more withdrawn and get a little more sad,” Suleman tells the show. “One of my kids for a while, I noticed, he didn’t want to deal with the reality of what’s going on. I noticed some tears coming down his face. I held him for ten minutes and he held me back and that’s all he needed.”

Suleman, who on Jan. 26 gave birth to the octuplets, also told the show the weight of all eight babies: Nariah: 3.5 lbs, Makai: 3.5 lbs, Jeremiah: 3.5 lbs, Jonah: 2.5, Josiah: 2.5 lbs, Noah: 4.5 lbs, Isaiah: 4.5 lbs, Maliah: 4 lbs.

As far as the babies’ father, she says she paid him for the sperm donation. “A certain amount of money,” she says, “not too much but just enough so he knew that there were boundaries there. I wanted those boundaries to be really firm and know that this is a business arrangement.”

Octo Mom’s New Publicist Quits: “THIS WOMAN IS NUTS,” Saturday March 7, 2009

Octo Mom Nadya Suleman is without a publicist — again.

Victor Munoz tells Usmagazine.com that he quit as Suleman’s rep Friday night.

“It just got to be too much,” he says. “It’s pretty much a free for all over there right now. They are freaking out right now.

“Not to sound arrogant, but those people depended on me for everything,” he continues. “You have no idea what I’ve had to do for these people.

“NAYDA GOT REAL GREEDY. THIS WOMAN IS NUTS,’ he adds “This I can say: what ultimately destroyed the business arrangement was personal reasons.”

Munoz — who plans to meet with his lawyers Monday to go over the terms of his contract and confidentiality clause — did not go into further detail.

Suleman’s first publicist, Joann Killeen, stepped down after her firm received over 100 graphic e-mail and voicemail threats.

“They’d put me in the wood chipper and throw me in the bottom of the ocean and hope I die,” Killeen has said. “We’ve gotten her through the worst part of it and now they are putting their venom and anger toward us.”

Looky here so called TAXPAYERS, Nayda is not the only one receiving food stamps. All your anger was directed at Nayda when soooo many people are getting food stamps. So, Nayda is not the only one breaking the bank.=========================================================================================================================================================================================================================================== Record 31.8 million on food stamps
Government shows increase of 700,000 food stamp recipients in a single month.
March 5, 2009: 4:00 PM ET

WASHINGTON (Reuters) — A record 31.8 million Americans received food stamps at the latest count, an increase of 700,000 people in one month with the United States in recession, government figures showed Thursday.

Food stamps, which help poor people buy groceries, are the major U.S. anti-hunger program, forecast to cost at least $51 billion in this fiscal year ending Sept. 30, up $10 billion from fiscal 2008.

“A weakened economy means that many more individuals are turning to SNAP/food stamps,” said the Food Research and Action Center. Last summer food stamps were renamed the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP.

The average food stamp benefit is $115 a month for individuals and $255 a month per household.

Enrollment for food stamps in December was up 2.2% from the previous month with increases in all but three states. Ohio had the largest increase among large states, up 3.4%, to 1.26 million people. Texas had the largest enrollment, 3.05 million, up 1.8%.

The previous record for food stamp enrollment was 31.6 million last September, which included “disaster” stamps for states hit by hurricanes and floods.

In April, food stamp benefits will increase temporarily by 13% under provisions of the recently enacted economic stimulus law. Ellen Vollenger of the Food Research and Action Center said some families will see increases of $80 a month

We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love. There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us. When we discover this, we are less prone to hate our enemies.

Andrea Yates case FUTURE of Nadya Sulman’s children

I think she has a serious mental disorder, and if the state does nothing and this story drops and she hasn’t made the money & received the publicity she’s after we will once again see her on the news for “one of her children going missing” or “another bates case” She craves publicity, and money. Don’t give it to her. Save the children’s lives and take them away from her before it’s too late for one or more of them.

- Where is the state to help those children?

Studies suggests that people with a negative way of thinking will be more prone to depression than most other people.

Stop, and have a deep look within yourself, the way you think.

I forgot to mention the fact that if it were my children in a hospital right now, even one child let alone 8, I would be at the hospital 24/7 with my babies. I would not be trying to get as many interviews as possible; how much time does that leave for her newborns not to mention her other 6? How many of these newbies will she lose on the way home from the hospital?

“This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; in its place is something that you have left behind…let it be something good.”

Please stop the stories about this woman. She does not deserve the publicity. She is not worth watching and I turn your show off when you have the stories on her. You are making it seem that the more stupid people are the more they are rewarded. It is so wrong and she is a bad image to glorify to the young girls in the real world.
