Reports: Rihanna Victim in Alleged Brown Attack

0209brown.jpg

"Extra" has uncovered more information about Chris Brown's arrest on battery charges yesterday.

The R&B singer posted $50K bail and was released from custody yesterday at approximately 6:30 PM -- after his SUV was chased through L.A. streets. Brown, who was booked on charges of making felony criminal threats, faces up to 9 years in prison.

New reports today confirm that Brown's superstar girlfriend, Rihanna, was the victim of the alleged attack -- and suffered bruises, scratches and even a bite mark (some reports have said she has a broken jaw), but her people are not commenting except to say "she is well."

This morning, Rihanna's father told Splash News that his daughter told him she was in a car wreck. "She told him the reason she was pulling out of the Grammys was because of a shoulder injury," Sam from Splash News dishes to "Extra."

On Friday, the couple looked cozy at Timbaland's Pre-Grammy party where Rihanna performed for the star-studded crowd. The singing duo also appeared at Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy party on Saturday.

Rihanna and Chris inexplicably left the bash at 12:20 AM in the middle of P. Diddy's performance -- and were snapped in Brown's rented Lamborghini, which "Extra" has learned rents for $2K a day. Ten minutes later, LAPD received a 911 call about a domestic violence incident in Hancock Park.

Both Rihanna and Brown canceled their Grammy performances on Sunday afternoon -- giving Justin Timberlake and Al Green the opportunity for an impromptu Grammy performance. News of the alleged incident stunned attendees, including actor Blair Underwood, who said, "That's unfortunate -- that's very unfortunate."

Now, "Extra" has uncovered evidence of abuse in Brown's past -- with his stepfather allegedly abusing his mother. "In the cover story for Giant magazine, Chris Brown talks about telling his mom that because his stepfather was so abusive to her that one day he would go to his stepfather's job and beat him with a baseball bat," Emil Wilbekin of Giant magazine dishes to "Extra."

The incident is under investigation, with Chris possibly facing additional charges. He is due in court March 5.

and i agree with those of u who are saying that he won’t last a day in jail. ur rite. he’s filthy rich. and for those of you blaming rihanna? yea i’m sure she beat herself up and blamed it on him. that sounds totally realistic. NOT! U effin idiots! No matter who started it, Rihanna’s the one in the hospital Chris is the one in trouble with the feds. and you know what? if she’s been abused, who ever’s fault it is, no one deserves the treatment she got from him. and i was an extreme Chris fan so this isn’t coming from a chris hater. this is coming from a young woman who thinks that domestic abuse is wrong. I like chris. he’s talented and hot and i never thought he’d do something like this. I hope it’s just a rumor but I’m doubting that very seriously

Wow, they should just split up. He shouldn’t have hit her, and whatever she did, she shouldn’t have. They both did wrong, im not taking sides.

I really liked Chris Brown until about a month ago when the tween crush I had on him started to wear off quickly. I still had some respect for him as he’s a talented singer and dancer and he defiantly has got the looks. However, last night and this morning when I heard about this all over the radio and news I was very upset. I’m sure I’m not the only one who would’ve never expected Chris to do something like this but I also think that Rihanna is a very talented, strong woman who deserves a hell of a lot more respect then that. No woman in any situation no matter how mean or upsetting deserves to be abused in any way. Rumor or not Rihanna has my support and Chris has lost all but a sliver of my support. He did turn himself in and I would hope he feels bad about what he did. And for those of you who still like Chris Brown, I totally understand that and I hope I can go back to liking him but I think you should consider how you would feel if your beau abused you. There’s not one woman out there who deserves to be treated like that. Sorry Chris and fans but I’ve gotta take RiRi’s side on this one. =(

Personally, I think that if you dish it out, you should be able to take it. If not, then STOP dishing! To both parties, I wish you the best!

Here we go every website guys and girls ready to convict this guy already. You all need to chill out. You have only heard rumors and not offical sources of what happened. Besides it’s a one sided story and Rhianna isn’t coming forward yet and saying it’s her or if he really did anything. You need to wait until the trial and then decide. For all you know it could be 100% rumor. Why do you believe everything you read on the internet. Jesus some of you are pathetic and very very simple minded. If you go on google search I am sure you could find more rumors than truth out there. Do not believe everything you read dummies

I think that Chris Brown along with any other man that puts his hands on a women needs to be monkey slapped. There is no excuse for hitting that woman, no matter how mad she may have made you.

Women can’t have it both ways. We want to be treated as equals but at the same time we treat men like crap and expect them to sit and take it. Domestic abuse can go both ways. Men can be abused as well. Word is Rihanna would hit Chris during arguments and I guess the sh+t hit the fan! Carribean women are not easy, they have a tendency to be possisive and jealous. I have a good friend who does not lay a hand on his wife but she is the she devil! He tries to do the right thing by his daughters but there is only so much someone can take. One night he woke up to find a knife in his face. He still did not touch her but I bet if he put one on her one good time she’ll learn her lesson.

From what I have read alot of people have been defending Chris and taking up for Rihanna only because they are great artists but they have yet to see them as normal indiviuals who life there life day to day like anyone else…I’m not here to stick up for either one of them just here to make a point…Look at it this way what if you were a female and your boyfriend had an extremely remarkale talent would it be okay for him to take out his agression on you because of the stress he deals with. Same goes for a male in the same shoes.

Women who like to run off at the mouth should be able to back up ever word that comes out. I don’t care how tuff men think they are they should never ever allow their hand to be raised to abuse a female. The only thing that I can say as immature as it may be if someone lays a hand on you return the favor don’t allow yourself to be abused.

If any man allows himself to strike me he will never strike another that’s all I need to say.

this is some bull ish. i dont believe chris beat rihanna, if her father told splash news that she was in a car wreck and she had a shoulder injury, what a.hole would come to the conclusion that chris beat her???? and if and only if this really did happen why is it anyone else’s business what goes on in their relationship, and if rihanna really did cheat on him and she feels bad for doing it, she wouldn’t press charges, because now their both equal she hurt him mentally and emotionally and he hurt her physically even though it’s not right, they both should just go their seperate ways.

still love you chris, keep ya head upp
