believe it or not. the ought to fix her so she can’t have any more. it was a deal to make money thats all, not for the kids.she can not afford them unless
the public helps pay for them. or sponsors give the things an money or a series on tv. i just think its sad to bring children in to this world an can’t
afford to take care of them,there are people out there who want children and can’t have them,who can afford them.and you have some one doing this for the money an—publicity sad.

I feel that her doctor acted extremely irresponsibly and put this woman’s life, as well as her childrens’ lives in danger. He should definitely face some serious consequences for his actions. I feel bad for her since its obvious that she is really in need of some psychological counseling. Realistically, she shouldn’t have been allowed to go through with any type of IVF treatment until she had a full psychological evaluation — which she obviously would have failed.

Maybe the doctor should have to provide for this brood. He should lose his ability to “practice” medicine. The kids should be put in foster homes or adopted out to several families that can care for one or two of them. This 33 year old mom has the intelligence of a five year old child.

I wouldn’t have done it but, they’re here now! I wish her and her family the best of luck and I hope she gets all the help and support she needs and that the family’s financial needs are met. Two million dollars might cover it but then again, maybe not. Those babies will be grown in a few blinks of an eye. They’ll be taking care of themselves in just a few years and they’ll integrate into society just like everyone else.

Lisa,I don’ know about anyone else, but to me GENEROSITY could mean a variety a things. Maybe someone can call Child protective services to check on the kids, or maybe someone can call Elder abuse hotline to make sure Nayda’s parents are ok and not being abused. I don’t it necessarily means money. I think the home and the 6 kids and the grandparents should be checked out to make sure things are ok in the house. Maybe someone can call adult services to check up on Nayda to make sure that she is mentally stable. I feel bad for the children, all 16 of them. I wouldn’t want to be on her shoes.

To Generosity begets generosity:
It sure does in this case. This lady’s parents are generous enough to care for her children. And, she is generous enough to load senior citizens with more children to care for. I doubt that this is the intention of the Bible.

My comment to the mother of those 14 children. I think she went crazy and dumb. How she going to have the money to take care all those kids. when the economy is going broke. I just want to say is that she need to get real and adopted them baby to someone who can take care.

the doctor is gulity. I hope they take away his license. He doesn’t deserve to work with patients. He knew exactly what he was doing and he wanted to experiment on an unstable woman.

This is a selfish event both on the doctor and mothers part. I have no children would of loved to had at least one but MY BAD waiting for the right man and father (some would state) being from a borken bad family myself..to fill a VOID of a bad childhood or being a only child with having more children than one can afford with time and funds is off the charts. This woman has had so much plastic surgery to look like Angelina Jolie! This is crazy! This woman is crazy! Angelina Jolie is crazy! Money is not the issue. Nannies aside, there’s a reason ‘nature’ or ‘God’ limits how many children we can have at one time. It’s called nurturing!

And to the Bible freaks, please point out where it says in the bible that thous shall defy God and use science to ‘create’ embryos in a dish and implant them into an mentally unstable woman? Yeah, that’s what I thought. God was pretty sure this woman shouldn’t have children!

I’m upset that this single and unemployed woman intentionally brought so many children into this overcrowded world. What makes me even angrier though is that for the past 10 years Nadya Suleman has been receiving disability payments (for a work related back injury in 1999) and though she’s been deemed “completely unable to work”, she’s felt well enough to undergo IVF treatments and have 14 children during this time. Her doctors even advised her earlier not to get pregnant since this could worsen her back condition. She told a workers’ compensation judge in 2001 that her condition was so disabling that she spent most of the day in bed and had been unable to care for her first child.

This woman Nadya Suleman possibly lied to the Disability Judge and physicians about her condition and then used her disability payments for IVF treatments. This makes me really angry.

Hey bible belcher, the doctor is being investigated as to why he implanted so many embryos. The doctor did not take into consideration the risks for the mother and the infants. His license to practice should be revoked indefinitely. He should not be allowed to practice medicine period. The state of calif should make him pay child support, and the sperm donor as well.

Sure kids are a gift from God.. but el’ NATUR-AL!!

She did NOT have ANY of these kids by any NATURAL MEANS! I can assure you that! There-in lies the HUGE difference. The DOCTOR should also be held accountable for such nonsense. If she could have had them “naturally” then so be it.. but this is indeed ALTERING into GODS own work! God won’t give you more than you can handle, but DOCTORS and your own SELFISH desires can definately give you MORE than necessary.

This lady needs a lot of help. She is obviously mentally disturbed… perhaps if she wanted to take care of so many children- her calling may have been to be a TEACHER, a Day-Care provider… even a mercinary! It’s a sickness to believe you can be the mother God wants you to be to FOURTEEN kids!! God can do miracles, not PEOPLE.

Based on the clips I have seen from her interview with Anne Curry, it appears Octomom had a nose job and lip injections. Interesting…very interesting…
