Rihanna turns 21 on February 20, but reports say the "Disturbia" singer has canceled her New York City birthday bash.

E! Online says Rihanna's music label, Def Jam, axed the pop star's party. The reason for the cancellation was not stated, but given the Chris Brown arrest and Rihanna's alleged victimization, conclusions can be drawn.

It doesn't look like the recession was a problem. A source tells E! that Cîroc vodka was going to sign on as the leading sponsor. About 200 guests had been invited to the carnival themed party.

In related news, Cleveland's WAKS FM 96.5 has removed Chris Brown from its on-air playlist until further notice. Program Director Bo Matthews says, "It appears that Chris has made some poor choices, we are following the lead of our listeners, and we will not be supporting Chris Brown on 96.5 Kiss FM in Cleveland until the alleged situation gets resolved."

i think this is just to crazy..Rihanna and Chris borwn was a wounderfull couple both young smart and wise things in life coming thare way i dont know a thing why would chris borwn do this to her …Thare was a misunderstanding because he would never do something like that.

Dogs, have the same equipment? I won’t even go there with THAT statement…Once again, how fair is it that Chris Brown’s music and endorsements get pulled, and yet Rihanna’s do not? Am I confused or is this biased against men? Back to the point at hand…no one really knows what happened because neither side is talking, which if Rihanna was ‘abused’ that night, why hasn’t she sung like a canary? And why is her Grandmother saying she’s fine. Maybe she knows her baby granddaughter is a drama queen?!

According to sources close to the couple, this has been going on for quite some time, last december Rihanna was seen with marks around her neck, but this leaves more to the story than just the abuse, friends of Brown insisted that Rihanna deliberately “pushed his buttons”, Both Brown and Rihanna had trust issues with each other. Brown was uncomfortable with some of her stage wear and Rhianna constantly accused him of cheating.”IT DROVE HIM NUTS”, ’ SHE WOULD LASH OUT AT HIM WITH ALL THESE ALLEGATIONS” says a friend of Chris. Rihanna reportedly screemed at him telling him that he was finished! Another Brown insider revealed. “She drove him to it, i know this, she was always the first one to hit, it has been going on for some time, theres only so much a man can take after so long” Another source close to the couple said.

People are quick to call him an abuser. Remember she is a over grown teenager at 20 years old who has raging emotions. I would never say that it’s right for any man to hit a femal, but I can remember at her age abusing a guy and he couldn’t take it and he hit me back, but I didn’t cry wolf. I took my medicine. So, since we don’t know the whole story, why persecute him before the facts. The person that called 911 may have seenn the incidents at the tail end! Does he really deserve to have his livelyhood taken away. I think not! If it’s true than therapy is needed. If she stayed with someone who has been beating her, than she is an enabler, and she needs therapy too!

Just wanted to say every one just needs to chill out until all the facts are in. We don’t know the story we only know what the media gives us and we all know they seem to exploit black people more so than other races. Let’s wait and stop being so hasty to judge. These are kids who apparently had some sort of disagreement that may have gotten out of hand. Remember they are only human just like you and I.

It is not fair the way people are treating Chris and RiRi. No one knows the full story . It is so sad how people are quick to judge when they don’t even have the full story.If this did happen, it’s not right. I still love Chris and wish him the best.Everyone needs to stay out of it and let them handle it. It is also sad that radio stations wanna top playing his music.What about R.Kelly,T.I etc. Ya’ll act like he has committed murder.I hope they both get it together and I wish them both the best.

This whole thing is ridiculous. A scratch in ‘hollywood’ life turns into a gash or deep laceration. A bump turns into major swelling.

I’m not saying ‘Rihanna, prove you didn’t deserve it.’ The D.A. has sent the case back to L.A.P.D. because there isn’t enough evidence.

What about those horrid pictures taken at the scene? Maybe they’re not so horrid, unless you’re looking through the media’s eyeglasses.

I think if you strike someone, who ever it is you should be ready for the outcome of what you did. NO one knows what happened but those two and no one never will really know what happened. I do not condon abuse of any nature, but violence begetts violence. We all have done something morally wrong one time or another and no matter how wealthy or how famous you are there is a consequence. We should not judge Chris Brown or Rihanna for that matter but support both of them, so they won’t make the same mistake again.

Ok look…no one apperantley truely knows what really went down that night. Certain speculations have been reported upon this altercation between Brown and Riahnna. Basicaly speaking, this story is chopped and scrwed until all information pertaining to that night are correctly pieced together. In my opinion no one should pass any judgment until the full story comes to ahead. A true and acurate statement(s) needs to be given from both party’s/ witnesses befor any conclusionas about the altercation are concluded.
